I know where I am. Everyone who donates one penny to FR pays for a format that we all deal with whether we like it or not. Maybe it won’t cost much at all to implement a filter! Who knows? Well, we won’t, because no one is gonna spend 10 seconds looking into it.

Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not. Uh oh ... I just posted twice to a Romney supporter who whined and demanded that a fellow FReeper stop harassing her ... telling her that she and her ilk (supporters of Romney and other big government Republicans) deserved to be harassed the hell out of the GOP so that real limited government conservatives can go about the work of salvaging and reclaiming the party and helping it start to win elections again.

There’s nothing wrong with providing software with ‘ignore’ capabilities. The ‘get some thick skin’ nonsense is a Mickey Mouse way of saying ‘we don’t know how to do it’. There should be a way to filter (or block) posters that I don’t want to hear from. If it takes an extra Freepathon to pay for it, so be it. This is the 21st century, stop making it sound like putting up with a few persistant assholes is some kind of noble exercise. It is not. No, "ignore" functions are just lame. I've got an "ignore" button on my mouse anyway.
