Packing heat may backfire. People who carry guns are far likelier to get shot – and killed – than those who are unarmed, a study of shooting victims in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has found.

I’ll bet the study did not involve those who have a permit to carry!

They must be referring to the criminals. Gets them great jail time if they survive getting shot by the good guys as well.
Thumbs up...

Walking outside does the same thing. Moreso in some areas.

Philadelphia, ROTFLMAO!

In Philadelphia, most of the gun-toters are gang-banging Obamanoids.

These are the kind of results one would expect when lumping legal gun owners with gang bangers.

I figure if you factor out the bad guys I would say you are probably safer if you do carry a gun.

I am glad that my ancestors moved out of Philadelphia! Those that don't carry here have a greater chance of being eaten by a bear or mountain lion. Guns are not for killing people they are for staying alive.

Didn’t say anything at all about the composition of the study.

They don’t say what percentage were licensed to carry.

Lemme guess, a grant from the Brady Foundation sponsored a liberal college/university Obama donor to conduct a research study. This crap really gets old, I tell you. They aren't even worth the time tracking down and proving the obvious bias the study investigator has to the source of funds or personal/political stake in the results.

In my world this is call Academic Whoring.

In other news: people wearing parachutes are more likely to die in falls from aircraft than the general population.

Carrying a parachute increases the likelihood of dying from jumping out of an airplane too. Better stop carrying them.

Another lesson in correlation is not causality.
