Swastika carved into green at Lakeville golf course

LAKEVILLE, Mass -- Police along with the Secret Service are investigating after a local country club discovered a swastika carved into the green.

Lakeville County Club workers discovered the vandalism early Monday morning.

Carved into the green on the 18th hole was a swastika next to President Barack Obama's name.

The vandals snuck in at night and carved their message of hate, according to the owner of the country club.

"We don't know if they did it with some type of cleated shoe, or they had some type of tool and this time of year to have that happen, it's a problem it's much harder to fix now," said Lou Mincone, the assistant manager of the Lakeville Country Club.

its meaning changes depending on which way it is "turning" (for lack of a better word)... clockwise has one meaning, counterclockwise another meaning. (one means prosperity, IIRC, but I dont remember which one.)

So perhaps the vandals were only wishing Obama prosperity...

That was the original insignia of the (my Dad was one) 45th Infantry Division. The insignia was changed to the "Thunderbird" because of its closeness to the swastika. Dad was a radioman and always had an Indian with him to talk. THEY were the first code talkers.

When someone "fakes" a hate crime, that too should be filed as a hate crime.

The "victim" (or agitator) that does the act of vandalism is still trying to terrify the "oppressed" group AS WELL AS trying to silence the "likely culprits" (e.g. The Establishment).

When Democrats try to frame up Republicans that is motivated by HATE. Only thing is, none of the hate crimes codes include "political beliefs" among the religious and sexual beliefs that are protected by hate crimes legislation.

Short version, liberals can openly discriminate against conservatives without recourse (and after the 2004 election, they did, proudly boasting of no Republican work environments and no Republicans allowed hotels).

Such legislation is unconstitutional because it does not treat all people equally.
