What can we do?
Best solution would be to cut off all social services. No food, fuel, or housing assistance. If you work, or are married to a worker, you can survive. Otherwise, your chances are not good. We would have mothers and children starving to death in alleys, no doubt about it.
No one wants that. But what other solution is there? An increase in the minimum wage?? All the things we've been trying -- all the "help" that we provide -- only serves to expand the problem and make it worse.
The problem will only go away if the people involved really come to grips with the cost of the behavior.
What disgusts me is that these people won’t admit that this is EXACTLY what they WANTED TO HAPPEN.
Because they were all raised by people who were able to avoid the consequences of their actions. Therefore, they have no problem with allowing others to provide for them.

...something comes to mind here - this is pretty close to what Hitler did to increase the “pure” German population - I think the liberals are attempting to bring in a whole new class of sub-servant citizens dependent on them - of course this has been going on for decades - but this is pathetic!

Parents of both teen parents are responsible for their medical bills, their teenagers' living expenses, and ALL child care expenses for the baby.
Or, State takes the baby and the teen mom gets her tubes tied... teen dad gets immediate vasectomy.
None of the family members including the teen parents will ever be able to see the child.

The deal is, that it is hard to definitively pin the blame for the current negative consequences on the liberal policies, especially if you’re willfully blinded by ideology.
However, a few kids/families starving in the streets (and saving the REST of the population from the same fate as a result), can be directly attributed to “lack of services”.

Definitely - the left is trying to set itself up as the “ruling class” with full control over the rest of the population through controlling their consumption, travel, etc.
Most of them think that this is necessary and proper, because they “know better” than the individual about the decisions each person can and should make.
Wow, I just heard Beyonce give a radio ad for hunger relief, stating 1 in 8 people in America experience hunger at some point in their life. Perhaps she should do another public service announcement for Chicago.
