America Now Over 6 Million Jobs Shy of Administration's Projections
Wednesday, October 21, 2009
The table below compares the White House's February 2009 projection of the number of jobs that would be created by the 2009 stimulus law (through the end of 2010) with the actual change in state payroll employment through September 2009 (the latest figures available).
According to the data, 49 States and the District of Columbia have lost jobs since stimulus was enacted. Only North Dakota has seen net job creation following the February 2009 stimulus. While President Obama claimed the result of his stimulus bill would be the creation of 3.5 million jobs, the Nation has already lost a total of 2.7 million a difference of 6.2 million jobs.
To see how stimulus has failed your state, see the table below.

The media will tell us that millions and millions of jobs have been saved. LOL.
Well duh!!!! The only thing Obama stimulated was all of his payoffs that donated money to him.
for later
I wouldn’t recommend moving to North Dakota for one of those 1800 net new jobs. Winter is on the way.
ummm...so that means we need a BIGGER stimulus, right? /sarc
It's probably just a typo but I'm sure you meant 49 out of 57 States, right?
House Ways and Means.........Charlie Rangel the tax cheat who writes the tax laws. Goes hand in hand with Geithner the tax cheat who is Secretary of the Treasury, eh?

What about those 100 economists that Obama kept claiming were saying the Economic Recovery package would work? Where did they go?
Paul Krugman said we needed to borrow 3-5 T $ for government spending, said the 700B was too small. So that is his excuse.
WELCOME TO:
OBAMAVILLE
Gettn a head fake,
watchin msns take;
All of their pundits oozing foul oil.
Cleann my six gun on my front porch swing.
Felling my blood
Its beginnin to boil.
Wasted away again in Obamaville,
Searchin for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that Bush is to blame,
But I know its Obamas fault.
Theres no rhyme or reason,
They are all commitin treason
With nothing to show but a brand new tax or two.
But they are real beauties,
Despotic duties, how they got passed
I havent a clue.
Wasted away again in Obamaville,
Searchin for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that its Bush we should blame,
Now I think, hell with them its Obamas fault.
I blew out my flip flop,
Stepped on a pop top;
Cut my heel, but I just cruise on back home.
Because no medical care will the doctors render
They say theres little service I can tender
And theres no need for me to hang on.
Wasted away again in Obamaville
Searchin for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that Bush is to blame,
But I know, its my own damn fault.
Yes, and some people claim that Bush is to blame, And I
know because of my vote its my own damn fault.
The list, ping
That’s what zero said today about small business that there have been millions of jobs created or saved ... my eSS
Depressing numbers. I hadn’t realized Florida had lost so many jobs. Damn!
I wish that they had made the actual data available instead of a picture, so that I could run a correlation of the two columns. After eyeing the data, there seems to be a very highly negative correlation between the two columns.
Only one state with a net gain - only 1800 jobs, while every single other state has lost more than that number, with many of them losing magnitudes more.
ND is actually in a weather shield and has absolute perfect weather, we just cultivate this myth to keep the rifraf out. Wonder where John Gault is? Hmmm
It seems the results are opposite the stated expectations.
This is not going to end well.
In many cases the estimate was right on the money. Only the sign was different.
NY -111,800
But just think...according to the government website, 656 jobs were created by the $750,000,000+ stimulus sent there. Without that, it would have been -112,456. So with $130 BILLION, 0bama could get us back to where things were before he started!
RE :Mission Accomplished
You read my mind. A couple of weeks ago I was thinking republicans should use the Biden tape on “His wildest dreams” as ‘mission accomplished’. Dems wisely beat that one to death.
Not just on the way, but already there. Was in Minot last week, snowed lightly for 3 straight days and never got above freezing the entire time.
North Dakota’s 4 seasons: pre-winter, winter, late winter, and the cool, wet season.

In general, we loved it. Good, solid people, clean air and living that either made you robust or broke you. It was too tough to make a living when we finally left for good and better opportunities elsewhere.
Every time I have to add nutrients to the poor soil here in Pennsylvania, I remember fondly that rich, thick black soil of the Red River Valley.
How long have you been in Idaho? Wonderful state as well! I’ve sent all three of my kids to college there for less than the cost of sending one to Penn State.
Nearly 7 years now; guess I’m not all that new to Idaho anymore, but I was when I joined FR.
The schools in this state are a bargain, no doubt about it.
