"...the national party would probably be forced to go farther to the right than it would like in some areas, which could benefit Democrats."

Hahahaha! Yeah, keep telling yourselves that! LOL

Any chance that the locals can force Dede to withdraw?

And throw her support to Huffman?

“So the party chose a moderate, State Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava, as its nominee. “

Beeeeeeeeeep! Thank you for playing. We have some lovely parting gifts for you backstage.

So lets keep exploding deficits, 10% unemployment, devaluation of dollar, ignoring generals for months, foreclosures, government determining your salary, government monopoly of health care, no private vote for union intimidation, pushing more damaging economic legislation on this hoax global warming. Branding anyone who disagrees with this is an enemy of the state.

Bachmann and Palin are doing the right thing and the Republican Party in DC with some exceptions hasn’t learned a thing from 2006 or 2008.

[Governor] Palin, [Rep.] Bachmann teaming up against GOP

Well, they could certainly team up against me anytime!

(rim shot)

Okay, having gotten that out of my system, might I say I'm having the time of my life watching these two "little women" handing the mostly-male RINO GOP establishment their...collective arses.

Palin-Bachmann Overdrive 2012.

It’s pretty much hickville up there and I say that as someone who enjoyed the college years in the area.

This is just a very low income district where the education level is also low. Yes they have Ft Drum but overall there isn’t much industry and it’s dairy country.

And throw her support to Huffman?”

From what I have seen of her, and her recent calling the police on the Weekly Standard reporter (then lying about the whole thing), there is close to zero chance that she'd ever step aside or back Hoffman. Hard line leftists hardly ever do that. You see, it's all about her and her quest for power, not the good of the Republican Party or conservatives. Heck she as every bit as anti-conservative as Pelosi is.

No, they are teaming up to save the GOP as a whole by keeping out the cancers that are RINOs like Scuzzlebutt.

The GOP should represent a specific value system so, when you vote, you are confident that pulling that lever at least gives you a good chunk of your common values. Instead, they are acting like an American Idol contestant just singing whatever songs get them Paula's clap and keeps Simon from being too mean to them.

Throw in Marsha Blackburn and you can have the Republican Charley’s Angels.

Let's teach them another lesson in 2010. Yeah, let's lose another 10 senate seats and another 45 in the house. Maybe that will show them !!!

A moderate???? If she’s a moderate then most of the posters at DU are downright Conservative.

Woo hoo! Anyone got some picks? I really like Bachmann. She is supposedly a tax attorney.

She had said she and her husband had a good business but she went to DC because the country is being destroyed. She is trying to make a difference.

The POS RINO GOP cut off her money when she attacked Islamic terrorists of something during the election.

Talk show listeners contributed and Mitt also helped out. I know he is a RINO but I will always cut him a little slack for trying to help her.
