Well, perhaps one day you will understand this:

What the voters are looking for is leadership that provides freedom, growth, and opportunity. I think we can both agree that the Democrats, particularly the current administration provides none of these, correct?

So, why should our platform look like theirs? What kind of leadership is it to lower ourselves to the basest instincts of the voters? What have we gained if we win an election only to produce even worse legislation than our opponents?

The reason Reagan won, and won so easily, is that he projected a clear Conservative message that resonated with the voters at a time when the Democrats had swung quite far left and it was clearly hurting the country. Just like now, only now is FAR worse.

When we tried to appease the media, when we tried to look like our opponents, we got John McCain, the Republican candidate endorsed by the NY Times.

Our party needs to LEAD the voters, not vice versa. Political nitwits vote Democratic. We need to provide solutions (I have them to all problems, in case anyone wants to know), and LEADERSHIP.

We need to purge our party of the Scozzafava’s we have, not endorse them.

When you understand this, you will thank me, but it won’t be necessary. Just pay it forward.

I think he’s screwed himself by actually going against THE conservative Republican in this race and trying to make it sound as if others who support Hoffman are committing mutiny. He totally sold out this time.

We have no use for you RINO’s.

NOW do you understand?

Please have the courtesy to respond.

I promise I will forgive you.

Agreed. But fewer liberal’s would venture willingly into that space if it weren’t arranged so comfortably for them. That’s my biggest problem with the GOP.

The republicans run a nationwide slate of candidates and about half of them have no chance. We've had a candidate run for mayor of Baltimore and Washington DC and I don't think they have broken 20% in decades. But they don't quit. It is just not in us.

You mean except when it comes to Alan Keyes running against Obama in Illinois...Then, they refuse to start...

I know all I need to know about the GOP...
