Time and time again I'm left to gape in amazement as [Palin] does things that are right, but seem politically risky or even foolhardy. And time and time again, she does well by doing good. Funny how that works out, huh?

Do not believe for a moment that they ‘get it’.
This is nothing more than political expediency on display, kinda like the remorse for getting caught not the remorse for doing wrong.
They know they have a stinker on their hands, made a mistake. But they aren’t confessing what that mistake was, are they?

Denial of God’s sovereignty leaves those who do so scratching their heads when they see someone
doing well by doing good (His will).

If Scuzzi does not withdraw the GOP should demand itIf she withdraws, her vote will split for the rat.
She should stay in.

This should shut up and shut down the RINO-loving idiots, both here (on FR) and elsewhere, who THINK winning at all costs is better than sticking with your convictions, and doing what is RIGHT (conservative).
It may turn out that doing THOSE things, will actually RESULT in victory, and purging those RINOS that have been bringing our party down (to the level of demonRATS).

Wonder if this will help Daggett in NJ. GOP Christie’s first decision was to pick pro-choice Kim Guadagno for his running mate. Her name does not even appear on Christie’s campaign posters. In baseball terms it’s Steele’s hidden ball trick.

won't really be a victory for the GOP, although it will surely be spun that way, but proof of a growing anti-incumbent
Uhm, So?

Oh, I don’t think they’ll have “remorse” over promoting RINOs and elitists.
They’ll just know we aren’t going to accept what they’re feeding us out of party loyalty or political expediency.

I don’t think the high poobahs understand what is happening yet, if they would actually go out and talk to real people they might catch a clue!

To: ClearCase_guy
Funny how that works out, huh?It doesn't often. I've lost counts of how many times I've seen good people destroyed for doing good things, and then along came Sarah Palin. The media, the left, and the squishy Republicans unload everything they can at her, fighting dirty, spreading lies, using mockery and disdain to tar a courageous woman. And through it all, she keeps smiling, she doesn't get bitter, she fights back with devastating effectiveness... and she keeps on doing things like, well, endorsing Doug Hoffman when he was running third against well-funded opposition with establishment support.
I'm a cynic, especially about politics. But it's hard not to be inspired.
To: HIDEK6
You think all her 21% goes to the ‘rat?
Maybe 2/3rds...

I certainly agree on Crist v. Rubio.
And NY23 has sprung to national attention. It’s just too good a story to ignore, although usually they try their best to keep these things under the radar.

DeDe, Newt, et al: Do the right thing. Newt - withdraw your support. DeDe - just withdraw. We will thank and respect you. Cordially, Eccl 10:2 If they really care so much about the party, they should now throw all their support behind Hoffman. DeDe? Newt? Hello...anyone ....?

Its time these Smart Guys like Newt and Michael Steele get schooled. If they haven't been schooled from losing the Congress in 2006 and Juan McCain getting buried in 2008, I don't see them getting schooled from NY-23.

No, it’ll split that way. Since the rat will get more of her votes than Hoffman. It’s best to leave her in.

could make you wonder if the libs infiltrated republican party hierarchy over the last 20 years with moles and double agents. The Communist Manifesto for the US had as one of its goals to take control of one or both political parties.

Anti incumbency as a sentiment directed at our fine representatives in D.C. IS a victory for the GOP, you ignorant loser (the writer, not you) - just as a matter of mathematics. Let alone that it does little good to be ‘anti-incumbent’ to your GOP Senator or Representative who has had ZERO power and very little influence over legislation; seeings as how they cannot even filibuster.
