The republican alleged “leadership” will do nothing.

They will leave Scozzafaza in the race in order to keep the RINO flag flying.

Anything to hurt the conservative without leaving real fingerprints.

The alleged leadership will not get it. No more than John McCain TO THIS DAY still does not get joe the plumber and all that meant.

Ahem, not the writer... Chris Cillizza.

Anti incumbency sentiment is a great thing; for the party OUT of power to the extent that the R’s have been the last few years.

Pretty cool that Sarah Palin was so far ahead of the curve on this one. Very Reagan-esque.

It took a bit to navigate the site, I found this in his weekly newsletter section:

Americans are TEA'd

This an interesting sub-title (emphasis, mine):

The Reagan Coalition is Reassembling itself to Fight the Obama Budget

I also found this newsletter a page or so earlier:

Why We Decided a Ronald Reagan Movie is Vital Today

We made this movie for millions of younger Americans who were born after the collapse of the Soviet Union, in the hope that they will understand the horrors of Communism, the dangers of unprincipled leadership, and the inspiring story of how President Reagan changed America and the world.

Okay, now I am totally confused, Gingrich ... is Ronald Reagan and his view of conservatism, his principles and ideals, how he inspired the people of this nation dead and over with or isn't it??

Perhaps Mr. Newt needs to browse and read his own website.

True fact, I just feel bad wishing a Dem onto the folks in that district just to prove a point to Newt et al about their dopey strategeries. But what I should have said is, I really hope Hoffman pulls it off, which will be a win for Conservatism AND a warning shot across the bow of SS RINO. If the RNC doesn’t learn that the day of supporting aisle-reaching, wishy-washy elitist RINOs is over, then they’d better prepare for a Saracuda attack!

Steele cannot come out and publically support Hoffmann ... DeDe, like it or not, was the nominee of the Republican party in New York. It was an awful nomination, but Steele can’t publically throw them under the bus ...

However, I’m sure there are private discussions going on and it is being made clear to DeDe and the Clinton County delegate that got her nominated that if DeDe doesn’t withdraw, both of their political careers will be over ...

And do you seriously think Pataki makes this endorsement without talking to Steele and making sure this won’t hurt him down the road ... I doubt it.

Steele is not a chest-thumper ... but he IS very smart and, when given a chance, very effective ...

Drop out, DeDe! It's over, babe.

This whole fiasco just shows that even the Stupid Party can be pressured into doing the right thing.

Great finds, Mozark! I couldn’t find a bloody thing.

Yes, Newt. Do you think Mr. Reagan would have endorsed Dede against the conservative Republican?

What the GOP can do to make up for their idiocy is prepare the defense of the election results. The Democrats have already put in place their team to FRANKEN the election.

They intend once again to steal the election if Hoffman wins.

proof of a growing anti-incumbent sentiment that should strike terror in the hearts of any pol seeking re-election in 2010.

Excuse me? There are no incumbents in this race.

“The political world is scrambling to make sense of all this. “

There is nothing to make sense. It is all very plain.

The alleged republican leadership thinks people will for for republicans lie a clique or a privte country club. (see: may be a bastard but it is our bastard)

The alleged leadership does not get it. The fact that doofuses like newt and liquini spine Steele have to analyze the obvious speakls volumes to those of us who actuall VOTE.
