It's not in Big 3 territory, but we should keep an eye on some of the other state special elections as well. MI Senate 19 is a big one and a bellwether district. It voted for Gore, Bush, and Obama.
The 10th District in California for congress is a Hail Mary pass to win but if it's close, that will be good news.

The Judge told the Friends this morning that Corzine hates his job and wants to win so that Barry will appoint him to an ambassadorship.

I’m a poll watcher (put up signs, hand out ballot examples, etc) for McDonnell in Richmond and turn out was light in a very conservative area. A rally at Richmond Airport had about 300 last night!

Voted this morning in Fairfax County. The precinct voted 60% Democrat, 40% Republican last year. Turnout light.

Voted this morning in Stafford County VA (very conservative area). Straight Republican ticket (of course). I was there about 5:50 AM - 10 minutes before the polls opened. About 10th in line. Nothing like last year but decent turnout for off-year election.

It was reported on Fox this a.m. that the number of absentee ballots in NJ, after some new law passed by Corzine, is way up. Especially in Camden and Newark where, as Brian remarked, is where Barry campaigned this weekend.

To all kindred spirits in freedom, indivdual liberty and opportunity regardless of political stripe, get out and vote for conservatives in VA, NJ, NY23 and CA10!!!! Two reasons among scores: One a large vote and winning margin for our folks negates cheating by the Obamabots, and a powerful series of wins today will help make POTUS Obama the earliest “Lame Duck” POTUS in USA history which he truly deserves to be!!!! GET OUT & VOTE!!!!!!

BIG FOUR, DAMMIT!!! WHY DO YOU PEOPLE ALWAYS FORGET ABOUT MAINE??? The lib blogs are passionate about defeating Question 1 and keeping SSM in Maine. But on FR no one ever seems to talk about it. Big mistake.

Pretty quiet where I voted (NJ 'burbs). Walked right up to the desk, signed the log book, and voted. Nobody else was in there at the time (~9:45). Last year I had to wait in line a good half hour.
Weather-wise, it's a beautiful day, so I bet Corzine hires a few extra buses to 'escort' inner-city voters to the polls.
Keeping my fingers crossed for Christie, but this is New Jersey ...

Crossing my fingers for the NJ govs race.

For later.
Mc Donnell by 75% of the vote
Christie by 51% of the vote
