****A conservative Republican House member, speaking on the condition of anonymity****
Being that this was from Politico, there was no Republican house member who said this. This is a made up lie until they provide proof.

Anyone not brave enough to put his or her name on what they say, is not worth listening to. Most of the time I wonder if there is any source whatsoever, or did the “reporter” just make up a quote out of thin air.

Nope...slip of the keyboard, that's all. I am a conservative and LOVE Michelle Bachmann. I wish we had more like her. I was at the TEA Party in DC on 9/12 and loved every minute of walking toward the Capitol building and being around folks who feel the same way I do about this abomination of a President and Congress we have in place now. Let me put it this way... If this effort was being started by Henry Waxman and he was going to go around on a bill that conservatives had written and asking them "to leave my <> alone", don't you think you'd be on here complaining about how nutty these people are?

Obama will visit the Capitol Friday to attempt to undo what happens Thursday:)

“Politico has long been a leftist hit-piece machine, at least as far back as Fred Thompson and the primaries.”
Totally agree with you.
Watch for many more hit pieces slamming Palin, Bachmann, Crowley, Ingraham, etc.

Right, the media refers to Bush, McCain, Grahamnesty, Snowe, Collins, Newt all as “conservative.”

Michele Bachmann is the type of person that I refer to as a force of nature. They are special people that are driven to change the world around them in a way most of us simply aren't.
She is in a battle with Pelosi, without weapons and with a much smaller army. She's extremely smart and knows how to recruit others for help...and she learns from her mistakes.
When you consider the fact that the Republicans in the House are outnumbered, and for the most part being shut out of the process, she is constantly searching for anything that can be used to get the attention of the Democrats who would prefer to completely ignore her.
And she is refusing to be ignored...and for that...she is my new favorite.
Without question it would be difficult to be the primary person in her life that is responsible keeping things organized, but she will eventually fill that position with someone unafraid to ride a roller-coaster.
I love this woman.

This strikes me as an act of desperation...and it very well might be. I just think that yesterdays results will get us further than going around the Capitol and showing up Congress-critters.The nerve of these peons who think they are worthy to actually talk to congresscrooks!

Bachmann is awesome. No need for us to be distracted by some sorta irrelevant stuff about who is or isn’t in her office when someone calls. Good grief. We’re fighting for the soul of the nation and Bachmann is a CRUCIAL leader.

A conservative Republican House member, speaking on the condition of anonymity, suggested that Bachmanns views and her willingness to state them make it hard for her to keep staff. So the so called conservative House member is too cowardly to take possession of his or her pot shots. Why should anyone pay attention to this wimp. More likely the writer made it up

Obama made a living organizing mobs to confront businesses and politicians and 'get in their faces'. Have you never heard of ACORN?
If you are too sensitive for activist politics stay in electoral politics.

The image of travel-ready conservatives flooding the hallways of the Capitol complex to confront members of Congress may not be one that Republican leaders are too keen to project. +
When your captains crazy, its time to find a new ship, the lawmaker said.

Captain Bachmann + her crew of "travel-ready Conservatives" are all crazy. Yeah, standing up for the Constitution, figuratively and literally, is now "crazy" in Washington.
Washington DC, We The People have not yet begun to fight!!
