Praying In the Name of Obama
Post Scripts ^ | 11/7/09 | One Vike

There is a video here of community organizers who are worshiping Obama. There are two video in this article, but the video to check out is down a ways in the article. It shows them worshiping in Obama's name. Brietbart I guess had an audio expert analyze the video and the expert claims that they are saying Obama, not God.

Like I said there are two videos, the second one has the analysis included in a statement on the video. I guess the Gamaliel Foundation filed a complaint with the producers of the video. The Gamaliel officials claim that the followers were using the word God, not Obama. The Gamaliel Foundation and Obama go back a long time together I guess. So it would make sense that they would lead their members in worshiping him and then attempt to cover up their worshiping of him when the public found out about it.

However after audio and video analysis experts studied the film using the same forensic techniques used in criminal investigations, they determined that the followers were indeed saying “Hear our cry Obama”, and “Deliver us Obama”. It is all included in the second video.

I know there was some controversy before over this when Glen Beck had it and played it on his show, but this is the first I heard that experts agreed with Beck that they were worshiping Obama.

If you already knew this I apologize for wasting your time. I have been out of the loop for awhile and I am just now getting back to reality. Long story short I was in a car accident that had me laid up in the hospital. Now I am at home in my own bed and it is great.

Welcome back and laptops come in really handy when you in a hospital bed. Praise Obama and his health care for paying all your bills too. (sorry little bit of sarcasm) lol

"well, our parish asked God to help congress pass healthcare last week. "

How about some details? Who said what? How many parishioners got up and left the building?

I love this line from the article, ‘what we see from the left today is akin to the way Hitler was treated by those of the NAZI party or even the way emperors were considered gods in ancient Rome. ‘

Our LCMS Pastor prays for the President and Congress each week. In his case I think it is more like praying for Pharaoh’s heart to soften.

Sarcasm accepted as was intended. Thanks.

As for using my laptop in the hospital, I was so out of it usually, I was worried someone would steal it. So I used it when my wife would remember to bring it by but even then I was either out of it or feeling so miserable I did not even want to surf.

I thank God every day, that if I was going to have the accident that, it happened before Obama and company had a chance to screw everything up.

If my church, God forbid, had done that....it’d immediately be my “ex-church”.

So this church thinks Martin Luther King Jr. is a prophet and Obama is god. Sad.

This video is downright scary.

Am I the only one who thinks that the IRS should be investigating them with the possibility of them losing their tax exempt status?

So what happened in the accident and what happened to you if you don’t mind my asking.

Oh yea, I have you added to my prayer list Fred.

Hopefully it won’t take you twenty years to distance yourself from the place.

So, did you have a talk with your pastor. and how many parishioners walked out?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Don’t mind you asking,

Blindsided by a drunk going home from work.

Broken leg, dislocated shoulder, lacerated spleen, and I was in a coma for two weeks from a bad head butt with the driver side window. I had other damages also, but at least I did better than my 68 Corvette did.

Who would have known that fiberglass really falls a part under extreme impacts...LOL

Wrote the letter, will deliver it tomorrow. Citations from Bishops and other notable Catholic scholars included. Charity demands that I allow for misunderstandings, miscommunications, etc, and legitimate differences of opinion, semantics. The thrust of the prayer was on upholding the sanctity of life and freedom of conscience -- legitimate concerns addressed by the Bishops. I took exception to the presumption that gov't intervention in healthcare is a social good. So does the church:
The Catechism of the Catholic Church elaborates on this principle in theological, and almost poetic terms: God has not willed to reserve to himself all exercise of power. He entrusts to every creature the functions it is capable of performing, according to the capacities of its own nature. This mode of governance ought to be followed in social life. The way God acts in governing the world, which bears witness to such great regard for human freedom, should inspire the wisdom of those who govern human communities.

This is NYC. I've seen people wear "Obama" caps to the most conservative parishes. We're not ignorant of certain factions within our midst.

I would have walked out immediately, and never set foot in that sanctuary. If contacted later, I would have simply responded “Whore of Babylon”. BTW, I am Catholic.

Fortunately my home church in TEXAS has a priest who is not at all impressed with the Commie in the White House.
