All of the suspects are young black males, most of whom told police they were associated with either the Rollin' 60s Crips gang or the Black Gangster Disciples gang.

The Gangster Disciples, originally Black Gangster Disciple Nation. is a street gang formed on the South-side of Chicago in the late 1960s by David Barksdale, leader of the Black Disciples, and Larry Hoover, leader of the Supreme Gangsters. As we speak people at AP, NYT and the TV News Networks are participating in an emergency conference call concerning the best way to suppress this story and prevent it from going national. Breaking the story on the weekend was clearly part of the local Denver media’s contribution to the effort.
First, order of business is containment. Second is labeling Fox and anyone who dares to carry the story nationally, as racists. Third, if containment fails, getting the right people in front of the cameras to explain it away, i.e How the perps were reacting to
white privilege or bringing up some unrelated case of white on black violence and accusing the press of not adequately covering that case. Fourth, move on make it a one day story. No interviews with victims, no reporting of the trial. If the NYT drops it; then it must be a non-story.
This will be an interesting test of the MSMs current ability to suppress and manipulate and also,the free presses ability and will to fight the suppression.
My best guess is the fear of being labeled racist is so powerful; that conservative media will let the story die. Sometimes the truth is to radioactive for even the most committed truth tellers.
