As far as I can tell, there has been no Daily Presidential Tracking Poll since Wednesday, 11/25. I have not been able to find a more recent one at the Rasmussen site, nor here at FR.
Does anybody know what happened? Is the poll not being conducted over the TG holiday? Or has Rasmussen simply decided to stop conducting it?
Snide, smarmy answers are welcome (as always), assuming they are clever. But it is my hope that somebody can give me a straight answer to my question.
Well I had same question as you did. I did not see it written anywhere in the report. So I went back thru the trend page on Rasmussen. And they took three days off 3-5 of July for the fourth holiday so i concluded that must be what they did for Thanksgiving.
Now my smart alec answer is : Obama cant count more than 15 to the negative so they are fixing the teleprompter so he can have a response when the poll resumes on Monday!

I think they had to upgrade their charting software it wasn’t able to handle the depth of decline of Obama’s popularity or lack thereof.

Judging from the conversations back at the Martel homestead (and that of the in-laws), I'd say the natives are plenty restless - and finding that they have plenty of support in feeling that way.
My experience exactly. Even the Obama-bot in-laws shut their arrogant loud mouths for once.

There was indeed a clear drop right after the 4th of July that was noted by several people at the time. It gave the impression that lots of people got together at that time and there was some negative convincing going on. I got curious about it and checked to see what happened after Labor Day, and found that there was a move in the opposite direction for a few days. Maybe there were other factors involved that I’m not remembering.
At any rate it will be interesting to see what happens in the next week or so. Surely a lot of politics was discussed in the last few days in the privacy of family gatherings.
Unless POTUS Obama does a 180 degree turn and voids his total agenda, the Rasmussen daily poll numbers will continue to go down. I believe in demographics and “walking around”. So...here’s the real skinny, High end restaurants are half full, including the weekends, On average half the malls were only 50% full on “Black Friday”. Christmas sales will be flat and sinking. Shucks even the Walmart’s in the DFW are were only half full. Everything is discounted so profits stink. Yep, folks, how’s that for hope and change from the Obama empty suits!!! Want that to change? Kill the Obama agenda and bring in tax cuts, tax cuts and more tax cuts. And.....kill all government spending as requested by these Democrat losers!!! Get rid of half of the government work force starting with Obama appointees, you know the ACORN buffoons and theior SEIU cohorts!!!!
I made sure mine got double helpings of ClimateGate pie, as well.
