Kenny used his money from drumming for the Who (after Keith Moon) to untangle the legal mess that kept them from getting their money from the Small Faces/Faces. Checks come in, but not that much. And all from a few large corporations (who may or may not kept honest accounting as is common in the music industry).

Ian is satisfied being on his own and releasing his albums and playing on tv with Billy Bragg and others.

He does seem to like the reunion gigs though.

Don’t think that Rod Stewart gets on well with them though.

inneresting.......

I’m sure Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce were happy to rake in some $$$ from the Cream reunion. Eric Clapton is obviously worth more than 100 million

The Stones won't go out on tour with a drunken Ron Woods They've done it before and he was useless.

As a guitar player, I've liked Ron's playing in the Faces but in the Stones I've found him to be very uninspiring, particularly in trying to fill the shoes of the talented Mick Taylor who, in my opinion, contributed to the Stone's greatest era. There was a rumor that Mick and Keith considered the late Irish virtuoso Rory Gallagher for the lead position after Taylor's departure. Who knows what direction Gallagher could have pointed them in.

Baker’s got a number of ideas. He put them into a book...

He formed the first supergroup with Eric Clapton, and boasts he’s the best (he might even be right). But don’t ask about Ringo. John Walsh meets rock’s most truculent superstar...

I was a Stones fan from their early albums up until Mick Taylor left. After Mick Taylor I only like the Stones in a few places. Some Girls was their best post Taylor album. Brian Jones was very good but most of my favorites are from the Mick Taylor years

Mick Taylor did a great version of Sway with Carla Olson

She also teamed up with Gene Clarke another old favorite

Another MT favorite. Mick Taylor rules here and turns Jagger into a supporting character. His vocal accompanist

Ultimately Jagger and Richard ripped him off for song writing credits/royalties and wanted him out due to jealousy. In my opinion.

Ron Wood was willing to play Richards drinking (and druuging) buddy and hang out and be a stooge. So more compatible personalty wise even though the music suffered. The last few tours Ronnie was under orders to chill on the alcohol because fans were complaining about how useless he was on stage. He even dried out or went into rehab before one tour. Jagger is an a$$hole but he insists on putting out a good product

Great interview. He is a force of nature with how he carried on in the 50s 60s 70s.... and chugging down cigarettes at age 70. I saw Cream once and Baker had a big liquor bottle filled with a clear liquid on the floor next to the drum kit. He took swigs periodically. I have no idea what was in that bottle. Probably half vodka and half soda. He was getting a real workout and was soaking wet but many drummers end up like that. He had the image of the wild man of the trio
