A fellow resident needs your help.
Leslie Widynowski a Sun City Grand Resident is missing and has been since early yesterday. Photo of Leslie.
Yesterday when Mr. Widynowski arrived home he found cookbooks open on the kitchen counter and his wife, Leslie and their vehicle were missing.
He arrived home around 3 p.m. He assumed she had gone to the grocery store. She never returned.
Mr. Widynowski contacted the police to report his wife missing. All their friends began searching for her, by searching parking lots on Bell Road and Grand Avenue and hospitals. There are no known medical conditions that would cause her to become disoriented or lost. They found no signs of her. Their car is a silver Lexus 4-door sedan Alberta Canada Plate #TZU905. As you are out and about, please watch for this car on the street and in parking lots. If you think you have seen her, seen the car or if you saw anything suspicious near 16323 W. Sandia Park Drive in Mountain View I, please call Detective Tidd of the City of Surprise Police Department; Detective Tidd’s phone is 623-670-9760.

Do you have a link to where this information is so that people can see a picture? What organization posted this information? Are they thinking she is still in Arizona? (And why would she have Alberta, Canada plates on her Lexus?)

Has he checked the hospitals in the area? My sister was baking a cake on a morning in 1981 and suffered a burst aneurism in her brain and fell to the floor. He husband was in the next room and called a ambulance to take her to ER and then ICU for 4 months. She may have driven herself to the hospital?
YES. WE HAVE HAD 200 PEOPLE OUT CHECKING HOSPITALS, URGENT CARE CENTERS, SHELTERS, EVERYWHERE WE CAN THINK OF. NO LUCK AND MUCH ANXIETY. THANKS AND ANY OTHER IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THE MORE HEADS WE GET THINKING OF POSSIBILITIES THE BETTER!
thanks don’t think he has done that. Police do have her atm and credit cards. her purse seemed to be in tact at the house strange ?????
put a fraud alert on her credit cards with the bureaus to make sure if someone tries to use them the police are automatically called.
Check the bank accounts. Is there onstar or lojack in the vehicle? Is her cell phone missing? Call the cell phone company for an approximate location if it can’t be located.
This is stuff you can do yourself...IE don’t wait for police to get around to it.
Not sure who any one on this tread is, but who on here is so close to the family, that they know that Mrs. Widynowski purse and ATM and CCs were left at home. One must be careful not to injure the family emotionally than what they are going thru already.
Has anyone organized a search party for the area around I-60??? I feel this would be a place where someone would leave her. I think it would be easier to hit the highway than go into the city. Please urge residents to organize a ground search outside of the area around interstate 60.

A fellow NINER, LESLIE WIDYNOWSKI was reported to the local police as a missing person early Wednesday, December 2.
Initially it was thought that she had gone out on an errand in preparation for an upcoming golf gathering.
To date there is no activity on any of her credit cards or debit card. A national alert has been put out to all hospitals, her credit card companies, highway patrol, and borders. A helicopter has flown over the area in search of Leslie and her car. There has been no sign of foul play. It is thought by the detectives working on the case, that perhaps Leslie became disoriented as she had been suffering with some flu like symtoms.
Ken and Leslie have a group of about 20 people that they golf with every Friday, and everyone has been driving around town checking the parking lots, shopping centers and hospitals looking for her car. Leslie is driving a silver Lexus 4-door sedan Alberta Canada Plate #TZU905. As you are out and about, please watch for this car on the street and in parking lots.
We are all at a loss as to how she could have disappeared!
