Spanier invited Valerie Plame to the Penn State football homecoming game several weeks ago. She was introduced as a “special” guest. No question which way the political winds blow in State College.

Most all academia is twisted tight to the left. I have the pleasure of spending my evening watching them drool all over themselves in pride at their academic accomplishments, like soaking the taxpayers, and writing textbooks and charging exorberant prices to the students. I only go because I love my spouse, and there is an open bar, not necessarily in that order.

Looks like an abstract of a head - either long hair or a hood on our right, face to the left. Look at the darkest wood in the center (face) dark wood around that - hair and hood. Facial features are indistinct.

The only reason for Penn State to get $338 million from the Pa. taxpayer is so Spainer can have a salary of a half million which does not include a whole lot of perks.
We, the Pennsylvania taxpayers, are suckers.

I'm not familiar with Pennsylvania politics: what did Rendell do? Veto a budget bill and then it was overridden?
If the state legislature wanted to halt funding for Penn State right now because of this climate professor, how would they go about doing it? Can they even do anything about it right now or would they have to wait for the next budget bill? And do you think they have enough votes to make it veto proof?
Sorry for all the questions... I'm not familiar with Pennsylvania poltics.

good to know - and I hope he is successful in getting this fraud investigated by an independent source - not somebody hired by the Penn State administration.

Given that the PA Budget has already passed it would be next year’s budget that would be threatened. Unless the legislature could actually ‘impound the funds’, which I don’t think likely.
I don’t take the threat very seriously.
