BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) ― Sarah Palin is bringing her book tour for "Going Rogue" to Minnesota. The former Vice Presidential Candidate and former Alaska Governor will sign copies of her new book at the Mall of America.

Palin burst onto the national political stage last year after giving a speech at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul. Now Palin brings hundreds of her admirers out to get a glimpse of this maverick of a politician.

The excitement surrounding her book tour hits the Twin Cities on Monday.

"She seems more real world ... not an average politician," said Jason Lemiuex.

Minnesotans elected Jesse Ventura their Governor and Al Franken their newest Senator.

Maybe it’s the cold weather?

It’s the result of most of the population living in an urban sprawl and Union control in the Iron Mining district. Less than a quarter of the counties are Socialist but they control most elections due to mob rule.

The remainder (most) of the counties are Conservative.

One question I’ve always had...it seems that most farmers and rural folk I’ve encountered over the years (through the National Grange and other organizations and working in outstate Minnesota) have been very down-to-earth, family oriented, common-sensical, and otherways conservative; so how did they ever get lumped into the Democrat-Farmer-Labor party?

And if the Iron Range unions and urban metrosexuals are the ones responsible for electing our plethora of Democrats, why do the farmers stay part of the DFL?

What, does Reg Chapman expect all these conservatives to break the doors down and trample people to death on their way to stealing all the books?

You have to wonder if Pawlenty could even pull it into his column.

Hundreds? Try thousands.

Never fails how the MSM tries to minimize her popularity.

What does the title have to do with the article?

Or does the reporter consider camping out in the Mall parking lot as "going rogue?"

Run, Sarah, Run!

Palin has signed autographs at other locations for about three hours. She is scheduled to stay at the Mall of America from noon to 4 p.m. No word from the Mall of American about how many wristbands will be handed out. Without one you cannot get your book signed.

Bet they underestimate . . . badly.

I know someone that went to the MOA today early afternoon for some Christmas shopping and left without going in because it was a mob scene of people waiting for Sarah. And she wasn’t due to be there until 7:00. Go Sarah!
