NO MUSLIMS FOUNDED AMERICA BUT PRESIDENT OBAMA THINKS THEY WERE THERE!

by Lee S. Gliddon, Jr.

Nov 14th, 2009

Dear Mr. Obama,

OBAMA said, in his Cairo speech: “I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America ’s story. Dear Mr. Obama: Were those Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed? Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians.

Were those Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day? Sorry again, …those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians.

Can you show me one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution? Declaration of Independence ? Bill of Rights? Didn’t think so.

Did Muslims fight for this country’s freedom from England ? No. Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America ? No, they did not.

In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery. Your own ‘half brother’ a devout Muslim still advocates slavery himself, even though muslims of Arabic descent refer to black muslims as “pug nosed slaves.” Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your family’s “rich Islamic heritage” doesn’t it Mr.Obama? Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country? Not present.

There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King Jr.. or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights. Where were Muslims during this country’s Woman’s Suffrage era? Again, not present.

In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture. So much so that often they are beaten for not wearing the ‘hajib’ or for talking to a man that is not a direct family member or their husband. Yep, the Muslims are all for women’s rights aren’t they?

Where were Muslims during World War II? They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi’s in killing Jews.

Finally Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001? If they weren’t flying planes into the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the middle east.

No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other news networks that day. Strangely, the very “moderate” Muslims who’s asses you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo , Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11.

To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day. And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the “rich heritage” Muslims have here in America .

And now we can add November 5, 2009-- the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a muslim major who is a doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be counselling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan. That, Obama is the "muslim heritage" in America.

They didn’t have time to found new world countries, they have been too busy earning all those Nobel prizes in physics and medicine and just contributing to a better world in general.

Muslims were certainly here way before the founding of our country, as slaves. But most were converted to Christianity upon arrival. Muslim culture didn’t come to the US in any appreciable numbers until the 1900s. Until the Nation of Islam it had too few adherents to really have any influence on American society and culture.

Even today there are only 1,200 mosques in the country vs. over 300,000 churches.

My thoughts, exactly. The Marine Hymn “to the shores of Tripoli”. That's as far as the Muslim faith got in America.

It does go, however, with Jeremiah Wright's sermon regarding December 7th. According to Pastor Wright, that's when out of the blue, with absolutely no provocation, with complete disregard for innocent life, we dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and tried to exterminate the Japanese people. Belief it, or not. That's his astounding command of American History. He'd better be one of the best biblical scholars in the world, because he doesn't know sh!t from shinola about anything else.

Muslims did not contribute to the founding of America but, if unchecked, they will have EVERYTHING to do with its destruction.

At no point in its history has America witnessed a subculture so determined on its annihilation while the rest of the nation tries to appease it. America is living with a cancer while betting it can survive the desease.

I think your assertions are entirely wrong.

I would bet you that most of the slaves were practitioners of voodoo and not islam. I am not sure about this but it seems to me that most of the slaves were out of west africa... where vooddoo is chief. I dont think Islam was present in West Africa 200 years ago, however it is gaining a good foothold there now.

The ealiest muslims here were scattered among the slaves that were imported here.

Part of the curse on this nation that stems from the sin of slavery, IMHO.

The language in the treaty had a clear purpose. It said that our nation has no religious axe to grind with the “Musselmen” as opposed to many European nations. The identity of the people and the culture may be Christian, but the nation itself is not defined as Christian and thus is not in opposition to Muslim countries on the basis of religion.

In short, “We don’t want a religious war, we just want you to stop harrassing our shippping.”

Our founders had better sense than to have anything to do with Islamic ignorance or those polluted with it. Too bad the same can’t be said for the lying loser in the White House.

Below is a great book full of things I had never known about the South or the War.

The Jewish Confederates. Robert N. Rosen. Demonstrates the extent of Jewish participation on the Civil War battlefield and throughout the Southern home front.

Islam had most of Northern Africa by then and there were communities in the West as traders had been proselytizing. It’s a sure thing that a number of Muslims were among the slaves. But it’s irrelevant since they didn’t bring their culture with them for the most part.

FACT.... islam did take on most of nothern africa, but the desert limited their expansion to the south and west.

Sure there was a minor group of traders that did try going there but if you recollect there was nothing there to trade. The Portuguese were the first traders to the pepper coast... or the grain coast back in the early 1500s. They set up trading posts with the main objective of taking gold out. Africa has long been a place economically backwards without any organized farming or commercial enterprises. Later , they too took to trading in slaves.
The portugese were largely a christian lot..

Not only did Muslims not found or help protect or build this nation, contrary to Obama’s proclamation, we are NOT a nation of ‘immigrants’. Only 4 or 5 of our founding fathers were ‘immigrants’. They were born in this country.

December 7th is when the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor. Unless we dropped one of the nukes on this day in 1945 as well, he’s a complete idiot.

The Portuguese were zealously Catholic. They started capturing people they found along the coast of Africa at least as early as 1441 and taking them to islands in the Atlantic or to Portugal itself to work as slaves.

Muslim merchants began settling in sub-Saharan West Africa in the Middle Ages, and some of the later medieval rulers in that area were Muslim (such as Mansa Musa), but most of the population seems to have kept their traditional religions until much later. There seem to have been some Muslims among the Africans taken to what is now the US in the slave trade. Whether any of them passed on their beliefs to any offspring born in the New World, I don't know.

Of course. I was pointing to his ignorance or his taking liberties with the truth. Dec. 7, 1941, 7:43 a.m. 2800 dead, up to 3,000 with civilians — and he thinks WE’RE the schmucks. Oh well, what IS truth?

The story of Abdulrahman Ayuba Suleiman shows how Muslims often came to the colonies. Even though the Muslims hadn’t conquered the West yet (and wouldn’t until the early 1800s), they had still had trade and proselytization, and some fighting with the tribes of the West in which Muslims would be taken as slaves. Our desire to have slaves also gave incentives for the local Western tribes to search further out for other Africans to capture, including Muslims.

This resulted in a Muslim population in the West available for sale to the colonies.

It’s still irrelevant, because the original religion of that minority of slaves never had any influence on the colonies.

If you look at the history of the pepper coast, grain coast... and where slaves come from... you will find the bulk of the slaves came from what used to be called the grain coast or the pepper coast wheich refers to basically the same area. Then look to who the discoverers were, who the traders were and you will find portugese all over it. Trading in gold then slaves as per wikipedia.

Accounts of that area were that they seemed largely uninhabited. Matter of fact, Liberia was chosen for the Monroe slaves in the early 1800s as it was relatively unoccupied.

I do know that if you go inland in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, Togo, Cote de Ivoire in the backsides there are places that are still today relatively uninhabited. AND Voodooo is still king of the bush. Not islam. Although Christianity seems to have a stronger foothold than Islam.

Back two hundred let alone three, four five hundred years ago islam wasnt even on the map...Voodooo was absolute king.

Mali is its own story and very few slaves came from there. The vast majority came directly off the coastal areas through the Potugese infrastructure.

As you indicate, the Portuguese were fanatically Christian, which suggests that they would have a low probability to import Islam
