Sarah Palin will make a surprise appearance on "The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien" Friday night.
Security was thick around the NBC stage Friday afternoon, while the former vice presidential candidate was hurriedly rehearsing a skit.
Palin, who ensures high TV ratings wherever she goes, was a last-minute booking for NBC.
Sources say members of the NBC audience were led outdoors when first Palin arrived for rehearsals in order to keep her appearance a secret from them. Sarah Palin to appear on 'Tonight Show' By Paul Bond

Very interesting, so it wont be an interview, it will be a skit..ya think they will make fun of Letterman, I sure hope so, this I gotta see
I'll ping the list here in a minute...
Thanks for the heads up, kristinn.
Nevermind Letterman, Steele and the RNC establishment, just to drive the North East RINO Liberals that watch to Home Depot to get Duct Tape to keep their heads from exploding!!!
Sarah on nbc of all networks -— OPPOSITE Letterman!!
LOLOLOLOLOL
Ping!
She posted last night on her twitter page that she was doing a “Media segment” then returning home to Alaska..people were speculating on C4P that she would be going on The Tonight Show, guess its true. Hey Hollywood Reporter, thanks for ruining a good surprise, but now I know to watch it since I don’t normally watch that show
Letterman’s ratings are going to be in the toilet tonight. Sweet revenge, oh how sweet it is
Thanks for the heads-up! ...
...and, the DVR is set.
The New York Times actually had it first at 7:19 p.m., followed by The Wrap and then The Hollywood Reporter.
My pleasure. For once, NBC is Must See TV.
This is gonna be good..I expect Sarah to really smack down Letterman, he is gonna get all wee weed up
Those on the east coast will see this first. We will need you to update us left coasters how it goes.
I just hope the crowd is respectful. These are the same drones who cheered when they heard that Sarah had been attacked with tomatoes. Bunch of leftist drones

Sweet revenge without saying a word to that ugly troll Letterman! I love it!
Right on, Sarah!
crap,I gonna have to stay up later.
No kidding. Eat your heart out, Letterman.
And you, too, oh Perky One!
She should look straight into the camera with a big smile, wave and say “Hi Dave!”.
MAN OF THE YEAR?
You KNOW this skit is designed to put the screws to Letterman...
I hate it when she does that. He was just joking about her this last week. When will we ever learn.
onyx, so good to see you. Thank you for this wonderful picture. (But why is my screen blurry all of a sudden.)
Unfortunately, Conan will resume his insults about her before her shoes make it behind the curtain.
I think many supporters suspected some late show appearance as a finale.
It’s good. Palin is interesting and has the charm to mitigate the view that some may have from the media that she is a one-dimensional ogress.

Inspectorette! Sweet of you to say so, and it’s so good to see you too! I love that pic too. I really believe he’s toasting her. :)
Will she make fun of SNL and Tina Fey?
Oh of course. I just hope the audience is respectful. This is LA, liberal looney capital, but hey, when Rush was on Leno they cheered him so I guess anything is possible. Letterman is gonna get owned tonight
OK now THAT would be awesome
Ladies and Gents: Tonight's show is going to be amazing. I know I say that EVERY night, but tonight I mean it... Because we've got a very very special guest showing up tonight! Who is it, you ask!? I can't say! Not even the majority of our staff will know who it is until our mystery guest arrives this afternoon. No joke! This is top secret stuff!! However, because you guys are awesome, and I love you all... We'll be posting an early clip of their appearance tonight right here on our site!! Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook for an announcement of when the clip is up!
It's called killing them with kindness.
If she wants to run for President, she's going to have to go through the liberal gauntlet.
The audience will be comprised of out of town people too and I’m sure they will all be told to mind their manners. In fact, I will be disappointed and quite angry if she doesn’t receive a very hearty welcome.
ROLFLMAO
Sorry but that picture makes no sense
I remember when Rush was on Leno and I thought he would be booed out of the building, instead I was shocked to see that they cheered him and he had a great time. This seems to be just a skit and not an interview, pretty much shocking the audience since he won’t even be announcing it. Even though they are out of towners, they are still liberal, its the same crowd that goes on Letterman, laughing at jokes about Conservatives but booing at jokes about Obama
Should be interesting, especially since Conan has been towing the NBC line and bashing Palin every chance he gets. Late Night with Conan was a pretty good show. His “Tonight Show”...not so much. The new gig has really exposed the obvious northeast liberal elitist in him. Before/during/after the election he wouldn’t touch Obama with a 10 ft. pole...but you could always count on a nightly smear on Palin/Bush/Cheney, etc...especially Palin. For that reason I stopped watching all together.
I’m so glad she’s not tied to a job, and is free to do this sort of thing.
LOL
NICE!! I am so excited to see this. I don’t watch Conan but I will watch just to see her pwning Letterman
‘Nightline’ Continues Streak Against Letterman, Conan
ABC’s “Nightline” beat NBC’s “Tonight” Show and CBS’ “Late Show,” which was in repeats, in both Total Viewers and the 25-54 demographic last week, making it five weeks in a row that the program has averaged the largest audience of the three.
not even Sarah can make me watch this asshole....sorry....
