The couple have spent ten years refurbishing a large, rather plain building in the Liverpool suburb of Aintree, hoping to run a ‘boutique’ guest house in accordance with their own deeply felt Christian beliefs.
Last week, they were cleared of insulting a Muslim guest when high-profile ‘hate crime’ allegations were thrown out by a judge to public applause. But, faced with £400,000 of debt and the wreckage of a business they say has been all but destroyed by the controversy, there has been little celebration for Ben and Sharon – just bewilderment at the way they have been treated.
The experience has left them questioning their faith in the police, in the Crown Prosecution Service and in a British establishment that seems bent on protecting all manner of rights and sensitivities. Unless, that is, you are a church-going Christian.
It has done little to improve their confidence in the way their case was handled to learn that Detective Constable Tracy O’Hara, 
the officer who played a leading role in the prosecution for the unusual crime of religiously aggravated harassment and took charge of their interrogation, is a leading light in the Merseyside Police Gay And Lesbian Support Network.

Ah. When I read the headline, I thought this might have happened in a moslem nation. Shouldve guessed that it would have happened in PC Britain. This couple should move to the good old USA, where despite Barry Soetoro, a christian can still be a christian.

I have an internet friend in England. Her husband is working for a muslim and is being harassed and persecuted so meanly that he’s having headaches.
They’re trying to get him to quit so he doesn’t get compensation.

I get the impression that the British government has chosen to favor the jihadis and to sacrifice the Christians on the altar of political correctness.

She suffers from one of those primarily psychosomatic ailments that is very popular among flaky women, and was obviously out there "seeking" when she bumped into Islam; I'd bet she converted because she saw it as a daring, left-wing thing to do.
People like her hate normal, hardworking people, and particularly hate Christians, partly because they envy their stability and dedication.
And of course Islam, the ultimate whining, revanchist cult, is tailor made for them.
sooner or later, the US is going to see this problem.
What people need to understand is that under Islam, there is not other religion but Islam.

I am one of those "flaky women" who have fibromyalgia and let me tell you it is a real condition. The pain is real, very real.
It just happens that I have found the means to mostly live without the pain of it and I'm running around like a young chick.

Pray to God that you never have anything as painful as fibromyalgia and that you never have someone saying that your pain is all in your head.
The irony will be sweet for Tracy O’Hara when she will be one of the first to be put to death when Sharia becomes the law of the land.
