Problem is truth has never mattered to these clowns!
They are on a socialist mission and will not be denied as long at they have the 60 votes the need. They will proceed. Logic,truth,what's good for the country have never entered their minds and never will, only political expediency. We need to learn who and what they are.
Conservatives praising O’s speech is what made the lefties lose their minds.

Just keep in mind that if Bernanke is forced out he will be replace by Summers.
I only heard part of zero’s speech before I could not stand listening to him. Fortunately, John Bolton was the first one I watched who said the zero speech was horrible and sent terrible messages. I guess other conservatives listened to Bolton and ignored the initial positive reactions.
It really was an evil speech. And if, as has been reported, Gerson and others helped him with it, they should hang their heads in shame.
The Repubs can at least call hearings and grill Jackson. The last thing commies want is the light of day, they’re like vampires w/o the charm.

University of California President Mark G. Yudof today (April 20) applauded the release of federal stimulus money, as announced by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, for California public schools and universities.
The release of the federal stimulus money provides $268 million to UC. Because $255 million of that amount was previously taken into account in the February state budget, the federal funding reduces the UC system’s current $450 million state funding shortfall by $13 million.
Without the federal funding, the cuts to UC presumably would have been larger, and the total shortfall even greater than $450 million.

That is one of the reasons why the loss of both houses was such a disaster. About all that Republicans can do is stall and carp from the sidelines.
This morning we had a baptism at mass.
The baby was evidently Spanish because...well a)the parents looked Spanish and b)-the priest did the whole thing...IN SPANISH!
I asked myself...WHY?
The entire congregation speaks English, go with me on this.
The baby...well darn, IT’S A BABY!
I suppose the parents speak Spanish but my hunch is that they speak enough English to handle a simple baptism in English. My hunch is that these people speak English just fine but I don’t know them and this is just a hunch. There is a large Spanish-speaking population here in the swamps of Delaware but there’s another Catholic church where they mostly go to so again, this is just a hunch.
SO WHY DO THE THING IN SPANISH?
The godparents...hey, they looked as American as me.
So the congregation has to listen to this thing in Spanish which is no big deal I don’t suppose as a baptism isn’t real long or anything.
Still. The church stopped using Latin for everything due to complaints that the words were not understood.
So now we must do in Spanish?
I’m jes’ sayin’.
OH I am sure we will do all we can but in the final analysis they have the votes we don’t.
I kept turning the pages over looking for a few words of English....none to be found. I'm paying in pesos.
Yes they can but the will not. It would require political courage and staking out a position that loud pushy well funded "Enviormental" activist groups will not like. So Congress, being typical political cowards, will do nothing then blame the economic consequences on the EPA.
Of course the DNC won’t, they want this Country destroyed as bad as obozo does. Our side should be outraged at the EPA and let the entire midwest know who is punishing them for no reason.
