Time to disband the DHS and Profile Muslims. Jeez, how simple is that.
Thanks for your work, Mark. GRRRRRREAT thread! Thanks to all posters.
Who will protect us from our protectors? (RIP Mark Scott)
Resign now Napolitano! IDIOT.
Actually- children might do better- they know there are good guys and bad guys and the idea is to stop the bad guys.
The similarity is striking...African, Educated in fine schools, Similar names, considers America evil...etc.
Many thanks, PG.
Question for all: will Janet Napolitano still be DHS Secretary come Valentine’s Day?
ROTFLOL!
Follow Up Questions: The Obama Administration worked to re-balance SECURITY and CIVIL RIGHTS. Secretary Janet Napolitano, has your department changed any of the Bush Administration Homeland Security Policies? Answer the question without evasion.
Should a foreigner's parent be able to get his kid on a no-fly list just by contacting a US Embassy? How quickly should DHS assess the threat and how far should they investigate this based on just that tip? How long do they have between when the tip was made and when they update the no-fly list?
In terms of letting someone on a plane with an expired Visa, that was the mistake of the Dutch and this guy - you'd hope - would have been turned around when trying to enter the US at the airport in Detroit by TSA/Customs agents.
Political appointees do matter.
I can’t wait to hear what Mark Steyn, filling in for Rush today, has to say about this idiot.
It demonstrates complete stupidity in a job that may cost you YOUR LIFE or your KIDS life if not handled correctly.
And let’s not forget World B. Free!
We know what matters to Obama by his actions - not the cheap words that fall from his mouth...and the easy blame he dumps on President Bush.
“...She also continued to point the finger back at the Bush administration, repeatedly mentioning that the security procedures in place were formulated under the Bush administration...”
Fine, but you only get to use this excuse once. If there is a problem with the security procedures from the Bush administration, then fix whatever is wrong with them. Bush, for all of his shortcomings, would at least be trying to learn from this incident so that he could establish more effective security procedures; I wish I could be as confident that this administration will do the same, but they’re overly concerned about hurting the feelings of Muslims. For one thing, they should get a clue and understand that most Muslims don’t want to get blown up on planes either. I’ve had enough of this idiocy of letting political correctness trump security.
I cannot believe this person had the the nerve to blame George Bush!
administrations keep people like this in these positions because they ARE compromised. This way you can control what they do, what they say, and when they say it. If it gets really bad you hang an entire incident on their necks and let them twist in the wind. So be careful if you are the dufus that gets chosen for a position outside your paygrade. You could be the next janet reno.
Thanks for the reminder, I love Steyn.
Ummmm, you just put your finger on the real problem...
the Michelin Bus Radial tracks are gonna look real nice against that white jacket
"You're doing a heck of a job Nappy!"
