A Muslim spokesman was interviewed on Fox this AM. When asked if he thought that full-body scanners at airports would improve security, he replied that Muslims would never stand for them because they would show the bodies of Muslim women. The interviewer let that pass without any protest.

As long as the Feds run TSA muslims stand a good chance of receiving an exemption from any invasive search, at least on departures from the USA.

Any system can be defeated. That's why its important to have a multi-layed system, using technology, observations, and physical searches. The biggest threat to our security systems is not Al Qaeda, its the political correctness of the political class.

Not so much. Well into middle age. I have plenty of love for women for the people they are, but I will be fascinated by their bodies until my last breath. Integrity and decency don't by themselves propagate the species. That, my friend, takes lust.
Seems to me if they don’t want to play by the rules, they can buy their own planes and have their own airlines and airport.....Blow themselves up but stay off the rest of our airlines.

Such a simple way to solve the problem. And we could actually go to “random” searches which would still stop anyone with a genuine dread of such a search from flying, and the rest of us could keep our shoes on AND read during the final hour of approach with a comfy blanket on our laps. And maybe even knit, just like the good old days.
