LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles County prosecutors have decided no charges will be filed against a suburban police officer who kicked a surrendering suspect in the head after a dangerous car chase.

Rodriguez, a parolee heavily covered in gang tattoos, was lying face-down on the ground during the May 13 incident, which was broadcast by a TV news helicopter. After four officers converged on Rodriguez, two of them did a "high five."

TalBlack?

That's an odd moniker...You're wearing your skin color on your sleeve?

Right off the bat you punk out with bullshit.

Punk out? I asked a simple legitimate question. I find your moniker really odd Mr. TalBlack.

Look, the prosecutors and the DA decided not to charge the two Police officers. Is this not good enough for you? It clearly chapped the hides of several other sympathizers of violent, racist career criminals that appeared on this thread.

WTF does it mean, that the cops are innocent? How so?

Are you stoopid? It means exactly what it says, Mr. Tall Black ...They were not going to charge them. You don't know what that means?

If you don't like their decision, feel free to go protest outside city hall, or call CNN and complain.

Gratuitous beating administered by cops is unmanly, unconstitutional and un-American.

Read the thread slick, the DA and the prosecutors are not going to charge them, whether you like it or not.

I'm eager to see the record showing anywhere close to this amount of fulmination from you about the Christmas day panty bomber. Come on, post the links.

That attitude says a lot. Was the man on the ground? He is lucky. A drunk woman was arrested in Shreveport, LA several months ago. There was a video camera recording her meeting with the local Police. She was in handcuffs and got loud mouthed. The lone Policeman was throwing her around then walked over and turned the video camera off. When he turned it back on, she was on the floor in a pool of her own blood. She said the Cop beat her, He says she fell and injured herself.

That police officer was fired. I guess in your opinion, she deserved it. ;0)

Really, if “all of you” can only flaunt your bible illiteracy (including at least one who has “read it cover to cover”), then “all of you” can be safely dismissed as lightweights.

As for the gangster? Sentence him to rot in jail till he dies for all I care. It appears he did enough on this one jag to earn that. But as the government only seems to gain power, we should be ever more leery of letting legal restraints off of it, from the Oval Office to the beat officer on the street. This should be as easy to understand as A-B-C at a place so purportedly devoted to freedom as this is.

And as for your strawman arguments? Let them burn up in the fires of scrutiny.

Ya betcha. Add the endangerments, the threats, the sordid past, and the violated probation and you got yourself an effective LWOP.

But don’t go kicking him in the head after catching him just because you’re fuming mad.

“Are you stoopid?”

That how you talk to the “cockroaches, genius? Does that pronunciation impress you as tough? Sounds like you learned to talk tough from TV.

Let me show you how not “stoopid” I am. You're a cop. You're scared to death of the “cockroaches”. The “cockroaches” have kicked the living crap out of you somewhere along the line or on a regular basis back when you were a kid and you sold your soul to the Devil for a great crapload of his Foaming Rage. You epitaph may one day be “He hated the ‘cockroaches’ so much that he gloried in it until he became a ‘cockroach’ too.”

I've seen the people you call “cockroaches” on their own streets. I've had them come after me in various ways. They are educated to hate and they hate freely without disguise—just like you do. One day though some “cockroach” who has been taught he is entitled to hate you because you hate him is going to see or be the recipient of your psycho act and he is gonna’ sort you out. It's called living by the sword. Good luck with that genius, living to hate. Even if you actually were tough that’d be a dead end. I'll be praying for you in your unChristian ways.

There is a bright side to all this stuff. More and more cell phone cameras are catching our public servants in these acts of brutality. That must really tick them off. ;0)

That is an interesting question, ie the Navy Seals v. this so called police officer:

1. I am not an idiot leftist who think War is the same thing as policing. Thus I am more forgiving if the Seals did what they are accused of doing v. this criminal with a badge. War is different than civilian policing. Rights are limited in war zones. Anyone a police officer in the US encounters has a full range of rights.

2. I am however concerned that US military personnel do not abuse someone in their custody. In war the other guy is doing his duty. We are not mad at the soldier on the other side. We dont lock them up to punish them. We lock them up in POW camps for the duration. So I would be more concerned with the Seals case if this guy had been in custody for a number of hours/days.

3. I believe some of the reason the abuse scandal in Iraqi took place several years back is that the reserve unit that did the abusing was populated by many employees from civilian prisons. So criminal law enforcement like the cop being discussed on this thread, can cause serious problems.

So I would need to know more about the Seals. We they trying to get information from the prisoner? That was clearly not the case with this criminal cop we are discussing here. Did the guy resist? That was clearly not the case with this criminal cop we are discussing here.

One other thing slick, you running around wearing skin color on your sleeve and actually using it as moniker, likely means law enforcement and TalWhite justifiable made you do the chicken once or twice to adjust your bucket mouth.

You wanna show sympathy for child molesters, or violent murdering career gangsters, and other terrorist? Do it at your own risk.

Cut and paste spamming is frowned upon at FR. It is also the object of much ridicule.

That said, I make no big deal out of the (local) prosecutor’s pass. Prosecutors have often passed on more egregious cases. They would rather not pee the public money away on it. Now Eric Holder may have different ideas and he is a definite wild card in the hands of the liberals. Anyhow there will be a lawsuit and the whole thing in all its sordid glory will be drug out before the public.

There could potentially be plausible causes for all of this. But yes, the “thin blue line” (which really needs to remember there is also a thick red one comprising what used to be called the “militia”) needs to remember almost anytime is Candid Camera time now, so please keep your high fives etc. private. The tax payer will thank you for the needless settlements, legal fees, etc. he does not have to pay.

I think that the terrorist is pretty d@mn lucky to have been brought in alive. I don't expect our soldiers (including our Navy Seals) to read enemies on the battlefield their Miranda rights and produce search warrants.

Trying to compare our US military personnel to our civilian police officers is a mistake since they aren't bound by the same rules and laws. And thank goodness because I don't want to see Rambo driving a squad car anymore than I want to see Andy Griffith on a battlefield in Afghanistan.

Hey...wouldn't it be great if we could just throw out the jury system and retire all the judges? No need for criminal attorneys either. Just let the cops decide everyone's fate based on how they "feel" that day!

(This post is full of sarcasm.)
