FORT WORTH Maria Wahba slept through her own party.
The baby, who was born at John Peter Smith Hospital six minutes after midnight on New Years Day, was the center of attention Friday afternoon as cameras gathered to take photos of Tarrant Countys first baby of 2010.
Mother Manja Daood joked that it took her two years to deliver little Maria: Her contractions started about 7 a.m. Thursday, in 2009, and didnt end until just after midnight, she said.

And yes, they are being persecuted horribly by the Egyptian Muslims. Then again wherever Muslims exist, they persecute non Muslims. It is their creed to do so...like a pact with the devil
10% is the “official” census. By the church’s own estimate, based on their attendance records and their census they range anywhere from 25% to 33% of the population
Almost no one in the world believes the Egyptian government census. It is not even considered credible by that most uncredible of international bodies, the UN
I do not know how “credible” the CIA is but they report 10% - 9% Coptic and 1% other. Where do you get your figure of 30%? I would appreciate knowing.
CIA demographic figures are notoriously PC. They infact go out of their way to report official government figures.
A great example is Nigeria, where all independent sampling statuses have shown the Christians to be between 55-60% of the population but the CIA continues to use the old 40-45% number to avoid offending Nigeria
Malaysia is another great example. Muslims in Malaysia are under 45% (with the Indians, Chinese and Christians forming a majority) but the CIA continues to show Muslims as 50%+
Please keep in mind that this is the PUBLIC site of the CIA and can be read by anyone. As such this site is a DIPLOMATIC statement as opposed to a true research site. Anything written on that site is considered an official policy of the United States. Hence the PC nature of the site.
You can rest assured that the internal CIA analyses are far more accurate
Regarding the Coptic numbers, the most credible sources are either independent agencies that have done sampling censuses (as a true census is impossible) or teh Coptic church itself.
Keep in mind that hte Coptic church actually LOWERS its numbers to keep out of trouble from the Invaders. The last coptic church estimate was LOWERED to 14-20 million (true estimates are 20-25 million).
Even at 20 million that would form 25% of the Egyptian population, which is far higher than the 10% official numbers.
Very interesting. I appreciate that confirmation of my suspicions about the CIA as well as your analysis of the figures.
You are most welcome. If you want, go to the Wikipedia page about the Copts and “Religion in Egypt”
I am not asking you to trust Wikipedia but instead, the one good thing on those pages is that they list out all the independent organizations that have done surveys in Egypt.
Here is one last fact to leave you thinking. Till 1956, when Egypt was a democracy and had elections, Egypt ELECTED two Prime Ministers that were Christian.
If it was 95% Muslim (as the crazy Arabs claim) there was no way for that to happen
