Almost every time I tune in to the show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU), there is some kind of grotesque and pathetically cheap leftist message being perpetuated. Recently, as most of us know, the show had a character verbalize a connection between a psychotic murder and the fans of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill O’Reilly. The connection, naturally, is that these three individuals are “a cancer spreading ignorance and hate.”
The other day another episode I watched launched a ferocious attack on a religion and, surprise, surprise, it wasn’t Islam. The producers didn’t take the road less traveled. You know, the one on which you confront the real dangers facing us but risk attracting lawsuits and death threats and, well, you know, putting your job and life at stake and stuff like that. Why bother doing all that when you can just dip into the trendy liberal moral sewer and attack the Catholic Church — with no consequences to your own career and personal well-being? The Catholic Church is so evil, you see, that absolutely nothing will happen to you after you attack it.
In this particular episode, a Catholic priest molests boys and the Church covers it all up. The script offers a politically correct delicacy in which the seal of confession is portrayed as a vile rule created by horrid men for the purpose of institutionalizing abuse and tyranny. There are no complexities, nothing to be said about the sacredness and importance of a priest having the obligation of keeping a confessed sin a secret. It’s all just so simple and, of course, evil.....

I quit watching LAO 3 years ago after writing the show public relations folks and telling them how disgusted I was with the liberal spin they had reverted to. First I gave up LAO, then SVU, and finally CI. They all suck nowdays. NCIS is MUCH better though I have noticed even it strays into leftist BS now and then in a mild way.
I remember the old Yakov Smirnoff joke about TV in the old USSR; only two channels. Channel 1 was propaganda. Channel 2 was a KGB man telling you to turn the TV back to Channel 1. Ha Ha Ha...we are so lucky it doesn’t happen here...we have way too many channels.../s/

Anytime someone has or even considers a gun for self defense they are scorned as though they just farted by the buffet.
Every gun store they enter has a rebel flag hanging on the wall, the store owner is portrayed as a stereotypical, Southern redneck and they all have this amazing ability to identify a .380 round by the mark it left on a brick wall.
Law and Order has gone from bad to worse. As I read thru this article all I could think of is what I am told;;.....

Thanks for posting this, but the various L&O shows fail to spark any interest for me. The actors are uniformly dour and unpleasant, the camera work is shoddy, the lighting is poor (perhaps because so many of the actors are ugly?), and the whole thing just reeks of self-importance and smugness.
I watch Bones, which very often raises a couple of cheers for Catholicism and very often shows how rational materialism will make you unpleasant and unhappy, even if you work real hard to avoid it.
LAO made me laugh when the cops all eventually morphed into liberals. The real NYPD is noted for it’s large contingent of liberals, y’know. LOL!
I quit watching years ago. I can’t stand that arrogant strident @sshat McCoy. I’ll bet that Sam Waterson isn’t acting. I’ll bet he’s like that in real life.
SVU is what the liberals have always accused Dirty Harry of being. Through it they vicariously explore all of their fascist fantasies that they don’t yet have the courage to discuss in polite conversation.

About 5 years ago I looked forward to all the L&Os all over the TV. Then, I read an article in the NY Post that said Vincent D’Onofrio could not work on the set one day since he was so upset about Dubya and the Iraq war. Never watched it again...(that big sissy Vinny).
That was almost a jumping-the-shark moment for NCIS. I have not given up on the show, yet. They have been known to throw in an occasional PC moment, but they are the only show in which terrorists are usually mideast muzzies, rather than East Germans or leftover IRA guys.
Another PC episode from last year involved Ducky refusing to do an autopsy on a muzzie unless it was done according to R.O.P. rules. They came back from that episode. I think all CBS shows have some sort of obligation to do an episode that coincides with some "CNS Cares" message of the month. Don't give up on it yet (but I wish Bellisario were more involved).
No one should expect that if we simply reveal the bias and hate of the left, that it will cower and slither back into the darkness from which it came. Leftists will simply become more hateful and spread more lies. They believe they are in control and believe they should villify any opposition. They also do so smugly with confidence they take no risks in doing so. Conservatives, demanding a more free and honest world will have to fight hard to make progress—but, it is a worthy fight. My making this post will not accomplish anything, but funding and working for good causes and defunding and villifying the evil left is something worth doing every day.
Take away their money and you will get their attention.

Please don’t interpret this as my defending L&O, but a few years back, wasn’t the priest/molestation issues and the cover-up by the Catholic hierarchy one of the GREATEST scandals to ever hit the Catholic church. I frankly am glad it was exposed and maybe by L&O continuing to bring it into the limelight, and fresh in our memories, that these so-called men of God, who were following a Divine call into the service of God which includes a life of CELIBACY, and then violating that call in the most heinous of ways, will keep these pedophiles from so easily falling into that sin again...FLAME AWAY, CATHOLIC APOLOGISTS!!!

For better fare, get old tv shows on DVD like Adam 12, Mannix or Emergency.
I don’t watch L & O-—the one or two times I did, it reeked to PC B.S.
Funny, in NYC and LA, blacks and Hispanics account for 95% plus of all murders in each of those areas, but L & O shows evil whites, usually with an added twist —religious Christians, conservatives, former military, etc.as the perps.
NCIS is much better, but the Xmas show a couple weeks ago, in which the sweet Muslim convert was murdered by his evil Christian daddy—made me sick—coming on the heels of Ft. Hood, it should have been scrapped. What the hell are these people thinking?
