Ranch Hand "Summit" bumper replacement-deer guard for my Chevy crew Cab 4X4 (Video)

On the lighter side, and for those interested in outfitting their vehicle (particularly pickup trucks) with the necessary implements to address global warming and climate change, I offer the following video:

YOUTUBE VIDEO: Ranch Hand "Summit" front bumper replacement-deer guard

Ranch Hand pickup truck accessories are made in Texas. So, while we are down here, GAil (aka the boss) gave me permission, purely as a cost saving measure you understand, to purchase a couple of long desired accessories for the truck.

I didn't have to be told twice...hehehe.

Here are some more pictures.

Installation...I'd love to have helped, but with my current health condition, that's not me.

My brother and I hit a cow outside of Sanger while driving our 65 Chevy in 1972. Wish we had had one of these on that truck back then. As it was, the PU was totaled and we were lucky to avoid serious injury.

Nice job, Jeff. Let’s hope you won’t need to test it in Houston.

I hope your truck gear gets some use. Deer are basically giant rats with antlers and hooves. Mom ended up with a broken arm because of one.

Kill deer early, and kill ‘em often!

Oh, yeah, and get well soon! I beat cancer, and so can you!

Incidentally, have you seen that dopey Stand Up to Cancer ad with all the Hollyweird airheads in it? Looks and sounds like something out of South Park. Hopefully, the organization behind it is decent.

"Moose and buffalo, probably not. But depending on the speed, they can help against Elk. I had aan F-350 while in Montana severala years ago with one of these that was spared major damage from an Elk hit."

Thanks, Jeff. I might weld something up here, when the snow melts off a little.

That is a nice lookin' ALGORE Guard there . . .

A little can of Rust-Oleum will cover up any scratches democrats leave as they bounce off.

Veeeery nice.
While on liberty in Australia I was told that they're called "boing bars" 'cause when you hit a roo (a kangaroo, obviously) they make a boing sound.

Wish they made something like that for a Jetta - around here the parkways are tinted red every fall from the deer strikes.

Heh, we aim to please. In any case, welcome back to Texas for a while even though it's under trying circumstances.

May God's grace and peace be on you and yours.

LOL!

I had an Omaha cop once push me with one when the alternator in my Taurus went out.

Fortunately, there was a repair shop about 1 block from the exit ramp I got stuck on.

That was one time the cops showed up fast and I appreciated the help!

Did you pay him a gratuity of a bottle of scotch? That’s the going rate for a push out of traffic.
