Hope you are feeling better today!!!!
Good morning, Alas!
How nice to see this professional looking and informative thread.
I hope you are feeling well.
I want to see if Lieberman will stand for the democrats holding up a Senator Brown’s R-MA election to the Senate.
Here’s your excercise of the day:
Given the list already shown, what changes would you make? Who would be more newsworthy to interview this morning?
I’d start with Scott Brown and Martha Coakley.
Who would you pick?
Looks like the sport on the morning is for them to see what controversial or Republican-denigrating comment anyone can get out of Steele.
That would be good. Coakley wouldn’t show, thus advancing the cause of Scott Brown.
If I could unpick just one person, it would be John McCain.
Harder to put your foot in your mouth that way...
I'm trying to get excited about watching ahnulduh and the others but its difficult on this bitterly cold morning. We may have fish kills down here.
He left out "clean" but we all know Digger Reid isn't real good with details.
Nah, Coakley wins and they’ve dodged a bullet. They take it and are happy to have preserved their 60th vote in the Senate.
Unpicks are allowed!
Suggest McCain get at least 10 consecutive unpicks.
i would like to see some ‘former CIA “ guys...the current ones can’t talk, the rest would say something...also lets get Panetta up there to tell us “ its working”.
Scott Brown..should have been on.
Janet nappy...just to hear her screw up another time.
McClusky...was on fox last night...former intel guy ..he was really laying into this trying terrorists as civilians who committed a crime.
It was so cold my water tank in my well house ruptured (and well houses are what we use here because of the chance of cold—USUALLY prevents the parts at the well head from freezing). I still don't know the extent of the damage as it was too wet to see and the roof (which is the only access) is too heavy. I could see water coming out the side of the tank, at least. Anyways, I cut the power and now at least it's not pumping. What a mess!
Where’d you get those times? Totally different in the burbs of Detroit.
Panetta is not qualified to know whether it is working or not. Just like Janet N, he is woefully unqualified for the job he was appointed to. No experience whatsoever. Typical Obama picks.
Good morning everyone!
In the 50s and early 60s in nw Arkansas, we lived on a farm that had the water well and pump. I remember Dad putting hay bales around the pump/tank and leaving a light bulb burning 24/7 to keep the tank from freezing. We did occasionally have very cold temps.
This current storm dropped our nw AR times to near 1 degree night and 9-16 degrees day temps. Today we are supposed to get into the mid 30s, the first time we’ve been above freezing in nearly a week.
Health and safety experts warn: don't clear icy pavements, you could get sued Pavements are being left covered in ice because of ludicrous laws that put home owners and businesses at risk of being sued if they try to clear them.
A preview of coming attractions...
Yup..i would like to see panetta and Nappy both on, blubbering away...that might shake up a few more folks to see what we have got up there.
Panetta is hiding behind his newspaper ‘articles” and “comments”.
Be happy. It’s -7F by me. That Darn Global Warming again !
That also would be my pick, but since Coakley isn’t very appealing and is behind, they are not going to put her on one of the shows and drive her numbers down further after people get a gander at Brown next to her.
Someone on Ace’s site said that the debate was like watching Elena Ceaucescu appear with Mel Gibson. HA!
Good morning! Hope you are feeling better!
Anyone want to take bets on whether there will be the outrage and cries for Dingy Harry Reid to step down from his leadership position over his racist remarks in the same way that Trent Lott was forced to when he spoke of Strom Thurman in a positive manner 8 years ago?
How many days of precious broadcast time and column inches will be used to decry the hateful remarks of the Senate Majority Leader?
I got a letter from Steele saying that my request to be removed from the mailing list would be approved. I had made no such request. I just let them know that they would get no money from me unless/until they FOUGHT the dims. I also did not want my money to go to RINOs.
I take it it is the state-level RNC reps who call the shots, and so we have to take back the Party state by state in order to stop the Democrat-lite collusion.
But is there hope that the current national committee members will hurry up and replace this guy this month, do you think?
What times are you talking about? I do not post the times for the shows, as different local stations have different times.
Now the times that I did post where for the rebroadcasts—voice only—of the shows on CSPAN Radio. Those are times for CSPAN, not the shows. Is that what you meant?
I have been thinking that that book is becked by Obama and his cronies. It trashes the two people most likely to challenge him in the 2012 primaries (Clinton and John Edwards) and it makes an attempt to revive the “Palin is a stupid hick who shouldn’t be president” theme.
If you remember, Obama likes to “clear the field” so that hedoesn’t have to deal with any opposition.
Here we go around on the merry go round. Good morning all.
Morning AB, All....
....no singing for a while so I will go to mass on Saturdays.
Michael Steele this week, eh? This guy writes a book, tells the GOP to go to hell, he’s turning out to be a RINO at any rate.
John McCain on CNN...still this man is out an about but hey, the head of the GOP is too busy writing books.
How about that Massachusetts Race?
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif.; Kaine; Steele.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.
Christina Romer, chairwoman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers.
Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Joe Lieberman, I-Conn.; former Gov. Doug Wilder, D-Va.; Romer.
Something needs to be done. These shows are simply a "talkie" replacement for the sycophant dinosaur-news magazines like Time and Newsweak.
All these "newsmakers" are simply propagandists or RINO camera whores and never the "loyal opposition" with the occasional exception of FNS.
Nah. Dingy is correct on the "social justice" issues re punishing whites and the middle class and redistributing the wealth.
100 watt incadesent is the old trick. (so much for spell check)
I agree with you about Clinton.
But John Edwards? I think he’s done, stick a fork in him.
Looks like from his latest poll numbers that the people of Nevada are going to punish Reid in a much better way...for ALL of the country.
A good, and perhaps expensive, lesson for me now.
Agreed. Edward’s next gig may be defending clients issued parking tickets in municipal court.
With all the major issues on the table today, such as terrorism, health care, taxes, and votor revolt in Massachusetts and elsewhere, it looks like the nets want to focus us on Republican Michael Steele.
Thanks for clearing that up. I was speaking of local broadcast over the air. No cable-dish here. I refuse to pay the MSM for garbage.
Palin isn’t walking the middle. She is looking at trying to get as many Republican senators as possible in. What good does it do if we gain Brown and lose McCain? Besides, McCain has been pretty good lately, and as long as he is fighting Obama I will leave him alone.
After a year of Obama’s efforts to wreck the country, I don’t think we are going to hear any more about how we don’t have to be afraid of him as president.
Please don’t start going after Palin. She’s single-handedly inspired and motivated the grass roots, and there is no one else able to do that right now.
