WASHINGTON (AP) - Seizing a chance to reconnect, President Barack Obama will use his first State of the Union address to try to persuade the people of a frustrated nation that he's on their side, with a familiar sounding agenda recast to relate better to everyday struggles. In a time of deep economic insecurity, Obama will use this stage on Wednesday to offer hope after a grueling, grinding first year of his presidency, aides say. For the many who think the United States is still on the wrong track, Obama will attempt to present a clearer sense of how everything he's pursuing fits together to help.

I am ceaselessly amazed by supposed “journalists” ability to ignore every fact of Barack Obama’s whole political career in order to regurgitate propaganda to suit the latest PR meme from the Democrat National Committee.
0 has made no effort to build any consensus with anyone outside his own political cliche. His whole political career has been build on demonizing one straw-man or another.
This is just more of the same old same old.
I am going to be listening to how many times he says; “LET ME MAKE MYSELF CLEAR.”
If he uses the same theme in his speech in Cleveland that he’s one of us, that he’s fighting the bad guys, like greedy Wall Street etc. then he is more clueless than I thought.
But then of course how hard would it be to accept the idea that the majority of Americans don’t like his ideas or policies.

0bama doesn’t get it if he thinks he can repackage the same radical leftwing agenda. It is the substance of his agenda that America has rejected.
Instead what 0bama is really saying is that the American people are too stupid to get it. He just didn’t explain himself in dumbed down language enough for us to understand why he is right. So he’s going to try again, but with smaller words.

I always watched the SOTU, even watched Clintons. (I was too poor to own a tv during Carters, so that doesn’t count)
This is going to be the first one I am going to skip. The man is constantly on TV lying to my face. I’m done with it.
