DUBAI (Reuters) – A purported audio tape of Osama bin Laden aired on Al Jazeera television claimed responsibility for a December 25 attempted bombing of a U.S.-bound plane, and the al Qaeda leader vowed to continue attacks on the United States.

"The message sent to you with the attempt by the hero Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is a confirmation of our previous message conveyed by the heroes of September 11," bin Laden said on the tape, aired on Sunday.

"If it was possible to carry our messages to you by words we wouldn't have carried them to you by planes," bin Laden added in a message he said was directed "from Osama to (U.S. President Barack) Obama."

Many think that bin Laden has been dead for a number of years, yet al-Reuters here still reports as if he's surely still alive. Yet another MSM attempt at disinformation.

Doesn't it stand to reason that there are Arabic speaking impressionists who can do credible imitations of him for audio tapes?

Just heard at the top of the hour on ABC or NPR...There’s never been a proven fake Osama message and there was some kind of government confirmation this last one was genuine.

I never believe a word the US government says about anything, let alone the supposed intelligence agencies, but I do have very high confidence in the handful of Jewish Intel groups.

They have a high confidence level in this last message’s authenticity.
