Throw all the Bums Out, we need a better quality of crook.
Pray for America and Gov Palin
“Hayworth voted blindly with his party.”
He opposed Bush/McCain Amnesty. THAT is what this is ALL about. Those backing McCain want amnesty. The large majority of America, does not.
As for Dick Armey....same thing...he’s an open border rino!
Tea Partiers, Armey is using you!
His record and words are the evidence. Not the GOP hype.
Know what I remember most about Dick Armey? It was just before the NAFTA vote, early 90s. There was a round table discussion including Milton Friedman on Cspan. Friedman was Armeys teacher at one time. Too bad he didnt listen. Armey was pushing NAFTA (and any other lopsided trade deal around), Friedman was not. Friedman said, Nafta is NOT free trade, it is managed trade.
His record on Immigration...NOT good.
First, conservatives don’t want “a true outsider” per se. The want a true CONSERVATIVE.
And McCain, although he is conservative on some issues, has infuriated actual conservatives on many issues, including amnesty, Gore-bal warming, opposition to tax cuts. Perhaps worse, he seems (IMO) to take glee in “crossing the aisle” LEFTWARD, but only rarely seems to relish attacking the left. (To his credit, he’s done so this past year, but who hasn’t?)
For all Hayworth’s possible flaws, many feel it is time to send McCain into an honorable retirement. And primaries are the place to do it.
MY thoughts exactly! He's a loose cannon and not to be trusted, IMO.
We get rid of the deadwood. If JD doesn't work out, flush him out with the next election . . .and we keep flushing until we get the right guy in. Keeping in incumbents is saying you're happy with the way things are.
A reliable conservative is all we’re looking for and JD Hayworth fits that need!
Screw FreedomWorks, Screw Armey, and screw McCain.
This is a conservative site - go some place else!
Why McCain should not be re-elected? In a word. Illegal Immigration Supporter. We also suspect he is a gay rights supporter. Since this would likely be his last 6-year term, there would be NO constraints on this maverick whose lackluster campaign gave us the current WH occupant. Together with Graham of S. Carolina they will cause havoc for the party and the nation.
As we all should be when it comes to McCain, another of Soros's sock puppets.
“McCain always puts on a good Republican front during an election year”
April 3, 2008
Ive listened and learned, ran McCains Super Tuesday radio ads announcing hed seen the light on immigration: No one will be rewarded for illegal behavior. Note the language. Listening is precisely the word the angriest professional conservatives use most when describing McCains attitude problem. He promises to hear, not to listen, Human Events editor Jed Babbin complained. I am appalled by his contempt for the intelligence of his listeners, Michael Reagan moaned in his column.
Ignorance brought us McCain. We need to get smarter...FAST.
Poll: Voters Unaware of Candidates Immigration Positions; McCain Supporters Farthest Off the Mark
# Only 34 percent of McCain voters, 42 percent of Clinton voters, and 52 percent of Obama voters correctly identified their candidate as favoring eventual citizenship for illegal immigrants who meet certain requirements.
# Of McCain voters, 35 percent mistakenly thought he favored enforcement that would cause illegals to return home, another 10 percent thought he wanted mass deportations, and 21 percent didnt know his position.
# Voters often held different positions from the candidate they supported. Only 31 percent of McCain voters had the same immigration position as he does[snip]
“For all Hayworths possible flaws, many feel it is time to send McCain into an honorable retirement. And primaries are the place to do it.”
Once again though, if Hayworth has flaws, why send him back in there? Why not back another candidate? He is NOT an “outsider” and my recollection is that he had a lot of baggage and voted yea on some not-too-conservative issues. Am I wrong? Why not take advantage of the throw the bums out atmosphere and REALLY clean house?
Is there really no one else? I don’t think it takes a big name and big war chest anymore...isn’t that the idea, to get a conservative that might actually be a change?
Go, JD, go!
It’s a fair point that a third person may be better still. I’m not an Arizonan and, from an outsider’s perspective, the coverage suggests that “it’s Hayworth or McCain” (in the primary) at this point in the process.
Hayworth may not be a perfect candidate, but neither is Scott Brown. I’d support both not so much for what they’ll do but what their opponents will do. McCain’s opposition to Bush’s tax cuts wasn’t principled. It was personal.
With Hayworth, we get a more conservative man in the Senate just as Scott Brown gave us a more conservative man than Coakley. There may be warts on both but they are infintely better than the person they are/were running against.
Soros does seem to have his hand up a lot of politicians’ butts.
Thanks for your post, John. By the way, you have a fat and stupid, pro homosexual daughter.

If only those were the only things McCain supports that are just wrong.
How soon we forget...
McCain wants to spend $300 billion to buy up bad mortgages; Martin Feldstein behind it
By Michelle Malkin October 7, 2008
I cant underscore enough what a rotten idea John McCains ACORN-like government mortgage buy-up is. I said it during my liveblog. And Ill say it again: HE WANTS TO EXPAND THE BAILOUT. He wants to do what ACORN wants to do. Were Screwed 08.
This was his supposed game-changer. This was the very first thing out of his mouth during the debate tonight his big pitch right off the bat. The McCain campaign immediately sent out this fact sheet on the proposal, which will cost at least $300 billion. The proposal involves directing the Treasury Secretary to purchase mortgages directly from homeowners and mortgage servicers. Thats on top of the trillion-dollar crap sandwich
Read that last paragraph again. He would enact this new spending plan using the authorities provided in the stabilization bill the same ones I reported on in my special column for the NYPost today championed by Obamas friends at ACORN.
Its a great idea for everyone who bought overpriced homes with Adjustable Rate Mortgages. Those who rented or bought within their means or locked into fixed-rate loans that they can afford are out of luck, naturally.[snips]
McCain, just being Mccain, throwing out liberal lines to catch the unsuspecting. Here he promises to push the failed Kyoto treaty.
I am committed as President to pursue the efforts to reduce greenhouse gasses immediately. That includes joining Kyoto as long as we have India and China involved. It would not be fair to the planet to say the two largest growing economies who are greenhouse gas emitters are not part of it. Second of all there is a political reality and the American people would not support our engagement, joining in Kyoto without India and China.
“Its a fair point that a third person may be better still. Im not an Arizonan and, from an outsiders perspective, the coverage suggests that its Hayworth or McCain (in the primary) at this point in the process.”
I don’t know that much about it either, but when I ask, what I get back is “Dump Mccain” and no reason to put a guy who is a (retread) lightening rod in his place. Why not a new guy? Or gal? Shit, if we can take the immortal Ded Kennedy (D-HELL) machine, we oughta be able to do this. No one wants to say what Hayworth has that is so special, other than a name recognition. Shit, Adolph Hitler has that...or worse, Barry Obama...
My sentiments exactly chief...
“no reason to put a guy who is a (retread) lightening rod in his place. “
The only people who consider J.D. a ‘lightening rod’ is the pro amnesty crowd.
He has NEVER pulled anything as obscene as McCain...like giving free healthcare to all illegal aliens. (not to mention AMNESTY)

Bill to improve health care in Mexico! McCain strikes again!
What would Americans think, then, of a member of Congress who introduced legislation, not to improve health care in the United States, but to improve health care in Mexico?
Insane? Drunk? Unworthy of public office?
What would Americans think, then, of a bill introduced in Congress that required federal agencies to come up with a plan, not to expand health coverage in the United States, but to expand health coverage in Mexico?
Impossible? Unthinkable? Wildly irresponsible?
What would Americans think, then, of the motives of a senator, who not only introduced a bill to improve Mexicos health care system and extend coverage to a growing population of 120 million people, but gave health insurance companies the right to help devise the plan?
Blatantly corrupt? Grossly indifferent to the well-being of the American people? Downright treasonous?
Unbelievable as it may seem, the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act of 2005 contained a provision giving insurance companies the right to help devise a plan for extending US health care to Mexico (Sec. 1004. BINATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND HEALTH INSURANCE).
Even more unbelievable, the senator who sponsored the bill is not on the verge of being thrown out of office for this odious piece of legislation. No, the senator who introduced the bill, Senator John McCain of Arizona, is on the verge of locking up the Republican nomination to be our next president[snip]
IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES
May 12, 2005
Mr. MCCAIN (for himself, Mr. KENNEDY, Mr. BROWNBACK, Mr. LIEBERMAN, Mr. GRAHAM, and Mr. SALAZAR) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary
TITLE XPROMOTING ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE
Sec. 1001. Federal reimbursement of emergency health services furnished to undocumented aliens.
Sec. 1002. Prohibition against offset of certain Medicare and Medicaid payments.
Sec. 1003. Prohibition against discrimination against aliens on the basis of employment in hospital-based versus nonhospital-based sites.
Sec. 1004. Binational public health infrastructure and health insurance.
Soros does seem to have his hand up a lot of politicians butts.
And one of those butts is John Sidney McCain. McCain has been funded by Soros for years.....as Soros has funded McCain’s Reform Institute.....in fact, many of McCain’s ‘08 Presidential campaign workers were paid workers for the Reform Institute.
People are whining about JD Hayworth taking money from Abramhoff?? McCAIN has been taking MONEY FROM GEORGE SOROS for years.
I am not worried about Hayworth taking money from Abramhoff.....I am more concerned with John McCain taking money from GEORGE SOROS.
John McCain is a George Soros-funded liberal.
Also....McCain is weak on National Security. He wants to close GITMO, give Terrorists rights (instead of military tribunals), give Illegal Aliens Amnesty (and also Illegal Alien gang members), and leave our US border open for Illegals and Terrorists to enter.
I think anyone supporting John Sidney McCain in this election might as well switch to the DNC...you are definitely voting for a liberal
McCain IS A FRAUD. During time to get elected he is all kinds of “conservative”. After that, you don’t turn your back on him if you are conservative because he will stab you in the back.
McCain is the epitome of not a maverick, but a self important jerk who just wants the limelight and adulation of the press.
McCain is a FRAUD a RINO...piss on McCain. He can take his political philosophy and stick it where the sun don’t shine.
While McCain's not Coburn or DeMint or Burr, he's not, well, Scott Brown either.
“He has NEVER pulled anything as obscene as McCain...like giving free healthcare to all illegal aliens. (not to mention AMNESTY)”
Well. congratulations, you are the three hundredth person to rant against mccain (as if, somehow, we don’t already no why the idiot needs to go) and give NO compelling reason to vote for Hayworth...except that he doesn’t suck...and failed to answer the sinmple question of why not someoene else who has noone out there gunning for him, as was the case with SCOTT BROWN...who had no baggage, no enemies and a ton of grass roots support?
I see alot of supporters for Hayworth but no reasons why. This is not a simple deal...we don’t need to put up someone who “has NEVER pulled anything as obscene as McCain”...well, that could be said for a lot of DIMOCRATS, too...seriously, does it HAVE to be Hayworth, is there no one else? Why can no one answer that?
And please, let’s not pretend that Hayworth is pure as the driven snow...
That is correct. And, we are not lemmings following any one leader off the cliff. We are not all Republicans, but we do share an interest in shrinking government, cutting taxes, and restoring our country to the constitutional republic that was established by the founders.
Open Borders Armey and OB Islamist-lover Grover Norquist are trying to co-opt the Tea Parties.
sure looks that way
“is there no one else? Why can no one answer that?”
No, there isn’t. Not with the cajones to go against the McCain machine. Not as conservative as J.D.
“And please, lets not pretend that Hayworth is pure as the driven snow.”
No ONE said he was..he’s a politician, they all do something that goes against the line. It’s just how far over the line they go. And McCAin went too far YEARS ago.
Look. If McCain is in the Senate you’re going to get amnesty, and worse.
If J.D. Hayworth is in the Senate, we’ve got a chance to have SOME representation.
Your one-man anti-Hayworth vendetta is very suspicious.
