He said he was going to ask to repeal dont ask dont tell and NOBODY IN THE MILLITARY IN THE FRONT ROW CLAPPED!
Having served in the military and having attended a SOTU under a Republican President while in uniform, we were instructed not to react positively or negatively, since this is the CINC speaking and you shouldn't show an opinion either way for the cameras. It shocks me to see that young enlisted soldier somewhere above Mr.s Obama standing and applauding. Either he doesn't care or feel he's earned the right or something. Then again he's not sitting down on the floor.

True story about those who put him in office.
I just got back, had to go over to my mom’s, she’s bedridden, and we have to take care of her meds before she goes to bed. But there’s a CNA there who watchs over her at night. She’s a lovely lady, but I’m betting she voted for Obama.
She had on the SOTU address, and we were just talking, not really listening. But I mentioned Nancy Pelosi’s blinking. The nurse said, she had never noticed it before, but agreed Nancy did blink an awfully lot. Then she said, “Her husband blinks quite a bit too, but not as much as she does.”
Took me a minute to register what she was saying, but I guess she thought Joe Biden was Nancy Pelosi’s husband.
