Posted on 01/29/2010 11:20:08 AM PST by ColdOne
An angry Barack Obama met with House Republicans today at their retreat in Baltimore and attacked them for voting against his very radical and failed economic plans for restructuring America. To their credit not one single House Republican voted for the gigantic Stimulus Bill, the record Omnibus Bill, and the Obama Son of Stimulus Bill. And, only 5 voted for the democrats business-busting cap-and-tax bill and only one voted for Obamacare. Today Obama let them know what he thought about their lack of support for his radical agenda.
Look at how ANGRY he is while speaking to the House Republicans

I would have walked out.
Not first and foremost at least.
He is primarily a congenital liar!!!
It *IS* a Bolshevik plot....complete with their constituency the proletariat!
The man is embarrassingly stupid.
Sorry, no sympathy here. They were stupid enough to invite his sorry butt. If they expected something else, they’re hopelessly naive.
It’s the way of the political class, Democrats in particular. Angrily deny the truth.
“I did NOT have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky!” - B.J. Clinton
“I Am Not an Ideologue!” - B.H. Obama
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find only things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelogus
>> I would have walked out.
Far better to stay and listen: arms folded across chest, giving him the Evil Eye the whole time.
Even better to get up in his ruinous communist face, one after the other, and forcefully call him out. (Too bad that didn’t happen much)
Make him go away mad — and rattled.
The bolshevik claims that he is not a bolshevik. Yet the cpusa is wholeheartedly behind his positions and policies.
Well of COURSE he’s not an ideologue.
He’s a lying Marxist, fascist, anti-American usurping BASTARD.
He gets applause at his “Bolshevik plot” line. :D
And lecturing and berating them is going to help gain their trust and cooperation...how?
LOL, he’s an ideologue.
I watched part of this.
All Obama did was blame Bush and not take responsibility for anything and lied about the health care hearings on CSPAN, Lobbyists and too many other lies to count.
The GOP comments after were embarrassing, as if Obama did them a huge favor by taking their questions, even though he didn’t answer any of them.
Not an ideologue...hmmm
I remember him saying, “We won!” when meeting with the Republicans.
"But seriously, folks...."
"I'm here all week...try the veal..."
Just words...just speeches....
Good grief!! I think the creep has gone off his rocker!!
The list, ping
Don’t walk out...laugh at him. Mock him. Ridicule him.
It is not merely the individual that must be defeated; rather, his ideas must be permanently discredited. Humor can contribute to that worthwhile outcome.
Showing liberals like Bambi in their natural state, as sanctimonius, know-it-all creeps is a good thing. His teleprompter personality was left at the door and he looks like a scolding school marm.
I would have got up and given him the finger and walked out.
I know... it’s childish, but it is effective.
Any response from the GOP or folks that where there?
The MSM spin is that the Republicans are regretting having this “on tape”...but IMO, I think it’s great for people to see how “bipartisan” 0 is. He basically told them, “My way or the highway” and acted like a schoolyard bully.
Likely. Just like Hitler when his master plan began to unravel one Allied victory at a time.
“Angry”? What we are seeing is a thinly veiled man-boy tantrum.
Yeah, that’s a proven team building leadership technique (sarc)
For the first time in his life, his blackness and unctuous charm is not getting him what he wants- bwaaa haah! He cannot handle it.
Get out of my White House.
I Am Not an Ideologue
I Am Not a socialist
I Am Not anti-American
I Am Not a moron
I Am Not a black man ... oops, I can't use that one. I'm only 1/8 black, so it's kinda true.
I Am Not stuck in a job way above my paygrade.
What a disaster!
The more things change...The more they say the same...
Remember during the election when Obama the Marxist said he would not cut the capital gains tax, even if it would increase revenues, because that would not be “fair”?
And now he actually has the nerve to stand up there and say that he is not an ideologue?!? HA!!
He is a radical revolutionary ideologue.
He is a Marxist/Socialist/Communist.
He is trying to fundamentally transform America into a socialist/communist country.
Lecture or no lecture, we are not going to back down from the truth.
To underscore just how bad it is, compare the measures required to achieve Communism championed by Engles in the Principles of Communism to what The One is doing. This pratically mirrors his agenda!
The Principles of Communism - Engles 1847
(i) Limitation of private property through progressive taxation, heavy inheritance taxes, abolition of inheritance through collateral lines (brothers, nephews, etc.) forced loans, etc.
(ii) Gradual expropriation of landowners, industrialists, railroad magnates and shipowners, partly through competition by state industry, partly directly through compensation in the form of bonds.
(iii) Confiscation of the possessions of all emigrants and rebels against the majority of the people.
(iv) Organization of labor or employment of proletarians on publicly owned land, in factories and workshops, with competition among the workers being abolished and with the factory owners, in so far as they still exist, being obliged to pay the same high wages as those paid by the state.
(v) An equal obligation on all members of society to work until such time as private property has been completely abolished. Formation of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
(vi) Centralization of money and credit in the hands of the state through a national bank with state capital, and the suppression of all private banks and bankers.
(vii) Increase in the number of national factories, workshops, railroads, ships; bringing new lands into cultivation and improvement of land already under cultivation all in proportion to the growth of the capital and labor force at the disposal of the nation.
(viii) Education of all children, from the moment they can leave their mothers care, in national establishments at national cost. Education and production together.
(ix) Construction, on public lands, of great palaces as communal dwellings for associated groups of citizens engaged in both industry and agriculture and combining in their way of life the advantages of urban and rural conditions while avoiding the one-sidedness and drawbacks of each.
(x) Destruction of all unhealthy and jerry-built dwellings in urban districts.
(xi) Equal inheritance rights for children born in and out of wedlock.
(xii) Concentration of all means of transportation in the hands of the nation.
It is impossible, of course, to carry out all these measures at once. But one will always bring others in its wake. Once the first radical attack on private property has been launched, the proletariat will find itself forced to go ever further, to concentrate increasingly in the hands of the state all capital, all agriculture, all transport, all trade. All the foregoing measures are directed to this end; and they will become practicable and feasible, capable of producing their centralizing effects to precisely the degree that the proletariat, through its labor, multiplies the countrys productive forces.
Finally, when all capital, all production, all exchange have been brought together in the hands of the nation, private property will disappear of its own accord, money will become superfluous, and production will so expand and man so change that society will be able to slough off whatever of its old economic habits may remain.
Maybe they invited him gang because they knew he’d react like this...you remember the old saying...don’t get in your enemy’s way when he is busy destroying himself. All the House GOP did IMHO is give him the rope...they didn’t tell him to make a noose and hang himself with it....
The President “doth protest too much.”
Maybe the blame Bush is wearing thin? His new villan is RNC?
YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT THE ‘OBSTRUCRIONISTS’ HAD TO SIT STILL FOR THIS CHILDISH TANTRUM? SO O. MAKES A FOOL OF HIMSELF ONCE AGAIN!
What a disgusting man. Imagine lecturing AT the Republicans like they are naughty school children. The hubris!
Just like you are not a Bolshevik trying to impose his agenda on America.
"I am not an ideologue."
The world served up to him on a silver platter all his life.
Now he runs head on into adversity and blames everyone else.
Because the Republicans, to their credit, have not been obligingly stupid enough to lend their names to the economic catastrphes that Obama and the Democrats are attempting to foist off on an awakening American public, thereby denying them (the Dems) the opportunity of sticking said policies in their collective faces when they fail, as they most certainly will.
Well, truly, it’s not a bad idea. I am thinking of Daniel Webster et al. Weren’t there fistfights and screaming matches on the floor? Because ???? Folks didn’t agree. It’s not just a Get-Along Club.
Amazing, isn’t it, that the repubs had NO POWER to stop ANYTHING that he wanted to do during this first year, yet he couldn’t get his signature policies enacted before Kennedy went to his just reward and a special election put the GOP into a position that it actually CAN block something.
And, now that they actually CAN block something, it’s all their fault, even though the new senator hasn’t even been seated yet...
Can the Big Meltdown be far off?
The man touted to bring both sides together sure has a proven way to create enemies. Demonize and threaten some more Skippy, that will surely get them on your side.
