Pelosi Using Air Force to Chauffer Her Kids Around? (Drain the swamp Nancy?)

Using Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Judicial Watch uncovered thousands of pages of travel documents related to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s use of military aircraft.

What hasn’t been revealed so far is that military aircraft are being used to shuttle Pelosi’s kids and grandkids between DC and San Francisco without any Congressional representatives even onboard! Put simply, the United States Air Force is serving as a multi-billion dollar chauffeur- and baby-sitting service for Nancy Pelosi’s kids and grandkids — presumably because commercial travel is beneath the families of the autocrats.

This just makes me furious. I remember when she first became speaker, and demanded a non-stop flight from DC to San Fran—she refused to “put up with” a refueling stop, because she was just too important.

She is as selfish and self-centered as Mrs. Obama, but regards herself as more important.

To tell the truth, I think that one of the "prices" one should pay for being an elected official ought to be a lack of privacy. Turn loose the accounts, put all of Nancy Pelosi's finances into a ledger and let us see it. All of it. No privacy. How much does she spend on wine? How much was her vacation?. The outfit she wore the state of the union -- I want to know when it was purchased, what store, and how much.

If they don't like the lack of privacy, then maybe they should go work for a living instead.

We will have corruption until the day comes when I know their finances better than I know my own.

So the Air Force aircraft and crew who are assigned to Nancy Pelosi, with the rationalization that she is second in line to become president if anything happens to Obama and Biden simultaneously so she needs to be protected and available to travel anywhere, are serving as her kids' carpool and babysitters?

Disgust doesn't even begin to describe my opinion on this. She should have to personally pay for the full cost of any flight used for her which she was not on - and not some coach ticket price reimbursement. I want full price of every drop of fuel; every dollar of pay, benefits and retirement funding for both the air and the ground crew; and the depreciation of the aircraft for the flights.

The important thing to remember is this is not costing the taxpayers anything because Obama inherited the deficit from Bush :) It's just like blowing TARP money after it comes back from the banks. Democrats say that adds nothing to the debt either. And spending the remaining TARP funds is likewise free, err Bush's fault :) same thing, right?

Think of Pelosi's family AF1 travel as stimulus and it looks better, right ???

The day elected officials begin their term, they should begin to be assigned the same number of years in prison as their term of service. So if defeated they serve that time when they leave office, in the worst stinking hell hole of a prison. Now stay with me here....
Upon their retirement the people vote how much prison time they should serve. If you have served your constituants well, they vote you no time to be served... If you serve like every other politician you serve all those years in prison. It is a consequence of running for office. They know going in that that is the deal. That way their is a consequence for serving not just leaving your seat and getting a sweet lobbying job with the very company you got millions in contracts for.
