Leadership: The speaker of the House wants to extend a proposed freeze on domestic programs to include defense spending. In a world of growing threats, perhaps she'd also like to cut her travel and bar bill.

By everybody, she evidently was excluding herself; the speaker's interest in Air Force jets does not extend beyond the ones that fly her and her family around.
Documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by Judicial Watch show that Pelosi has incurred expenses of $2.1 million for her use of Air Force jets the past two years. Then there's the matter of the $101,000 tab taxpayers picked up over that period for "in-flight services," including a selection of top-shelf booze.

I still say we allow F-22 sales to Australia and Japan...even if our budget won’t have room for more purchases for the USAF, at least our allies would have the F-22 in their arsenal.
That said, I’ll believe it when I see it that the Sukhoi PAK FA, or T-50 as this article called it, is legit. Wasn’t the MiG-29 supposed to go toe-to-toe with our teen-series fighters? Didn’t work out too well for Saddam...
They talked about this today on Roger Hedgecock’s show, and a young man called in who is apparently in the Air Force. He said that they are required to treat these people as “distinguished guests” and no matter how infuriating the abuse, they must shut up and perform their duty.
He also said that government officials are known to fly into “war zones” on the last day of a month, and leave on the first day, so that they can claim the income tax waiver that goes with being in a war zone FOR TWO MONTHS!
I know that members of the military are afforded this tax waiver when they serve in a war zone, but I had never heard that it is also available to government officials.
Does anyone know if this is true? I am already so enraged by Pelosi’s conduct; if these government parasites are ALSO having their taxes waived via these corrupt junkets, I simply do not have the words to express my fury.
Anybody know about this?
