CALL IT WHAT IT IS!! IT IS SIMPLY A SECOND STIMULUS PACKAGE!!
Once again these politicians are well-intended, but they don’t understand business and markets. the stupid government can’t legislate “jobs”. the government destroys and disrupts. the free market and individuals create.
If I were an employer, and this thing passes, I'd lay off every employee and hire them back!
Why would we work with them? A tax credit to hire people won’t make companies hire people, so it’s just throwing money away. Companies will hire people if they have work, and they’ll take the money.
Taking money out of the economy to put it right back in doesn’t create work. Especially not when you’ve already borrowed a trillion dollars in a year.
What business needs is to know what it is going to cost to have workers, and what the business climate will be in 6 months. They need to know there will be money available to finance short-term needs.
Actually, you’d be laying them off now, because I’m sure the bill that passes will prevent firing and re-hiring later.
Less government / more jobs.
Here’s a report on government jobs actually created:
Now that Mr Reid's carcass is up against a wall, he suddenly wants to be bipartisan? I hope that the voters in his district see what an opportunist this clown really is!!!!
THEY ARE NOT LISTENING TO US.
If a Republican votes for it they are toast!
Make list of any RINOs who reach across the aisle.
smack them upside their RINO heads
It’s enough to drive anyone insane.
Harry ain’t too smart, he can, however, count to “41”.
Slow down. We need to give the appearance that we want to work across the aisle. And offer true suggestions on what we think should be done. Like cut spending and give tax breaks to people and businesses.
Then when the rats only put the smallest of tax breaks in the bill and increase spending we walk away from it claiming they weren’t willing to work with us. Just like the rats did when repbulicans ran congress. But to work we need all the repbulicans to stick together or it will fail.
They just don’t understand. Businesses don’t hire employees based on tax breaks. Businesses hire people based on their work load.
and therein lies the problem. You're expecting the lame GOP to do synchronized, high energy ninja moves. Ain't gonna happen.
I’m sorry but taking more of our money and freedom is NOT a “jobs” bill.....
