WFB, Jr & RR. I must read Buckley's book, "The Reagan I Knew."

So many books, so precious little time...

Yes, it was a better world then, but not for the unreconstructed bolsheviki and the hard left of the democrat party (and if they bolted the democrat party there would be only be a deracinated rump rat party).

No. It’s a more modern photograph.
Probably taken on his ranch.

I have been searching desperately on YouTube for Reagan’s final great speech at Oxford in 1992. Maybe by then the early stages of Alzheimer’s was just beginning, but to me it was one of Reagan’s greatest speeches, and served as his parting words to the future generations.

Things were better back then......
YEP, YEP, YEP, YEP!!!

And the 500 people in the room with me today for a local Freedom Rally knew that too. And we want that back, and now!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIPPER!!

I miss Ronnie and Everything he represents!

Ronald Reagan was the First Conservative I ever voted for, and 1980 was also the year I committed my life to Christ.

During that time I was full time self employed as a gigging musician and music therapist in Boston. I also had a Music ministry, played organ in Church, was in two bands, sold my quilts and artwork at craft fairs, and loved life in America.

But all the time there were the hateful democrats, academia, and the media, trying to discredit and tear down everything Reagan stood for.

Those were great time though, weren’t they? I sure miss him.

Can’t find it, either. Checked on Google and some DUmmie was asking for it, or a transcript, and they couldn’t find it.

Thank you, DollyCali for one wonderful thread! Many of these pics I had not seen before. I will never forget how glad I was when he was elected in ‘80, and sad when he left in ‘88. But—Ronald Reagan did not really leave us, his spirit lives on & always will.

Happy Birthday Gipper. I was privileged enough to be included in this commercial for his reelection! This is the short version, but I'm the redheaded snark on the left lifting the wall at 0:14.

It's one of my all time favorite photos. All I can tell you is it was shot inside Vizcaya in Miami. Perhaps the Reagan Library has more info.

Considering the photo is of Reagan and the Pope I highly doubt the media would give it any type of award in spite of its historic significance.
