This is an attempt to silence the Green movement ahead of expected mass protests tomorrow.

Dont expect anything to happen tomorrow beyond firey speeches and violent crackdowns on protests.

Sounds like it. But, they need to do more than just cut off access to google servers. They've got to shut down all internet access, which is hard to do. It's tantamount to shutting down the whole phone system in and out of Iran.
