Fair answer this far away from the election.

I’m a woman, I think Sarah has political talent, but I have to agree with Cheney. I’m not sure of her being President. I will watch her closely but I’m just not sure.

I like his answer.

As much as I like Cheney, I still trust my own gut feeling and analysis more than his take on Palin.
If Cheney were to come out against her, I would completely discount his opinion.

This article is another lie first promoted By the Leftico
website , a dedicated DNC propaganda outlet.
Cheney did not trash Palin, he simply stated its too early to talk about this topic.
The Palin hate machine lead by Axelrod gears up for
another of Palin attacks.

The writer is trying to make too much in what Cheney said....BTW Cheney is also right in that ALL of the candidates will have to “prove it” in the debates and campaigns.....it won’t be a easy road for Mitt,Sarah,Huck Pawenty and the rest..

The glaring fact is nobody has ever produced a substantive, policy-level criticism of Palin in the context of her readiness to be president.

Mr. Cheney pretty much sums up exactly how I feel about Sarah Palin.

Dick Cheney is right.
No one needs to be anointed.
To: crymeariver
Cheney didn’t say say that he wasn’t sure, he just punted away from all of it, all of them....it’s too early to consider someone ready or not until you see them in action vs someone else....remember that the media talking points is the “unqualified” thing and they will pound that until hell freezes over.

And those tests will come during the course of the campaigns obviously
Really, Dick. Are you forgetting about past achievements as part of 'your test'? So whoever the media says won the debate - that's the test?
NOT!! The American people have already spoken - crowds wait in line just to see and hear her. The media hangs onto her every word. Name ONE politician that can claim that alone.
I didn't hear you speak out about BHO's eligibility? WHY?
To: kingattax
What a STUPID headline. Cheney is not sold on any of them out there...yet, they just have to say Sarah Palin.

Cheney said all the right things.
It would be ridiculous to back a candidate this far out. He’s right: they all need to prove themselves.
The last thing we need is another incompetent President. Any candidate for the office must be thoroughly examined and show they’re up to the job.

Yeah, well, God love him, but why did Dick Cheney not select someone for VP other than himself back in 2000? I mean someone who would have been able to run for the presidency when Bush’s term was up? And why the hell didn’t he step aside in 2004 or during Bush’s second term so someone else would have a shot at the presidency from the VP catbird seat? We could have avoided this Obama disaster all together.
In the meantime, damn the torpedoes, Go, Sarah, GO!!
