The theory of global warming continues to fall apart. The Daily Mail reports today that Professor Phil Jones, the academic at the center of ClimateGate, admits that there has been no global warming since 1995. That’s quite an admission, but it becomes even better: he now also says that the world may have been warmer during the dark ages.
The Times of London adds that the ‘United Nations climate panel faces a new challenge with scientists casting doubt on its claim that global temperatures are rising inexorably because of human pollution.’ John Christy, professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a former lead author on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, now sincerely questions the data the IPCC relied to argue that ‘the evidence that the world was warming was “unequivocal”.’ Ross McKitrick, professor of economics at the University of Guelph, Canada, who was invited by the panel to review its last report said he agrees with Christy.

Indeed, they had to know they were pulling a scam. One of the first questions I ask libs who try to debate the issue is, what temperature is the earth supposed to be? How do they know this? Do they expect that temperature to never change? By that point they shut up, throw a fit or swear at me...you know, the typical liberal response when they are proved wrong.
You need to ridicule first, that is what I do, and it is pretty easy these days with climategate, snow everywhere, and mea culpa alarmists like jones.

I believe you are right. It is a religion, the worship of nature, which has been around for several thousand years, in various forms. This just being the latest. Even the Bible says there is nothing new under the sun.
ALGORE will hold the facualty at Harvard hostage. He will have a high ranking professor out on a ledge. He will demand we stop breathing out CO2.

The truth is that the science was NEVER there. The whole thing was driven by political ideology and activism. Give it time, it will turn out the the “scientists” who perpetrated this fraud were hansomely rewarded for being good stoodges by their various Governments and the UN. Anyone who looks at it under the microscope understands that GW is combination power grab & wealth transfer scheme. A few more years of warming and they might have gotten away with it. But, thankfully, Mother Nature has her own agenda.

Exactly, Big Al is nowhere to be found these days after he slunk out of Copenfrauden. I have an idea that I'd like to pass on.... For some time now, I have been sending FAQ section of the the Nobel Prize website this email....To the Nobel Committee... I have two questions for you: 1. Has a recipient ever been asked to return a Nobel Prize? 2. Now that global warming has been proved beyond doubt to be a scam, is the Committee planning on asking Al Gore to return his prize?
I'm not exactly assuming that I'll get a quick answer but it would be soooo much fun to see how they react if it became known that they received a few million messages like this...

My guess, too. The line will something like: “Well, maybe no AGW, but we’re trying to take care of you & wanted you to develop alternative energy before oil ran out which is why we haven’t been drilling our oil but saving it for when everybody else’s runs out.”
Now if only the con artist pseudo scientists and wannabe dictators who are stealing in the name of global warming would do the same.
You’re right, even if there were some real emergency science has lost it’s credibility to provide an alarm to it.
The problem is that most “science” these days is conducted by swindlers begging for money.
I suspect he knows his fraudulent house of cards is collapsing. One indication was where he canceled an event where people would pay to meet with him. I would guess that he got wind of non-believers buying time to confront him...something he avoids like the plague.
