She does not seem to be particularly astute, but I think the official from the one district was a bit premature. Apparently people had been turning in sig petitions in other counties in the same congressional district and they had not made their way back to the central office.

At least, I hope that story holds water. She is definitely the candidate we want.

You could have a point, but I think they had to be registered by noon as having been received. We will see how it all pans out. It doesn't sound like she had hardly any signatures from anywhere before Bayh said he wouldn't run again. Had he given Repub's, grassroots organizations, a bit more time to pull some shennanigans, she might have made it. I agree..... She is definitely the candidate we want....to get a Repub in that Senate seat!

I don’t know if any national tea parties have backed him yet; I do believe some local tea parties have. RedState.com has endorsed him; and I believe Sen. DeMint’s Senate Conservative Fund is about to endorse him as well.
