I’m never really stunned when Democrats win. Disappointed, but not stunned. Considering their every campaign boils down to, ‘we’ll give you free stuff and make you feel better!’

I saw the N&O has a story about elections board now investigating Bev - but neither N&O nor WRALTV have this story yet.
Of course we know why - because THIS story means their gal Bev will have to resign!
I know a couple of people that work closely with her, and neither could recommend that I vote for her. "The most politically motivated person that I've ever met" was one guy's backhand comment.
The other day, I heard a FReeper refer to her as "Governor Sugar Dumplings". Apt name, I thought.
