"Wrong. He did defend her."

NOT true. I read the transcript. Rush's words:
"And I hate to put words in Sarah Palin’s mouth because I’m just guessing and I’m neither defending nor criticizing, I’m just observing and I think I understand why she’s doing this."

He's doing what Rush does best...analyzing the situation.

Oh they hate her more than liberals do. Its more likely the Good Ol’ Boys in Alaska worked with bloggers behind the scenes- not the Obama machine. Of course, the Chicago Way and the Good Ol’ Boys have a lot in common. Probably worked together.

..oh, and a lot of that corrupt ‘good old boys network’ she cleaned out were women, including one bitter harpy who has been leading the attacks and frivolous ethics complaints against her.

Nuff said.

What is that supposed to mean?
If she wants to run for POTUS, she has to run within the existing framework and run the party gauntlet. No pure outsider can't win the presidency. You've got to have some insiders.

That is exactly how I analyze it.

Yea. Re the name. it is a better moniker than Okolona, Meridian, Selma or Tupelo. Parker’s Crossroads was the runnerup.

“To label Palin a RINO proves that it has become a meaningless term.”

BINGO, we have a winner!
I’ll go you one better, most Palin bashers are RINO lovers.
They are Mitt and Huck lovers!

For someone who is using Biblical references to make his point you are certainly being dishonest about what Rush said, or even what he inplied.

It would seem to me that you should ask forgiveness from those who you have lead astray.

I completely understand and agree with Palin’s decision to support McCain and I would vote for Hayworth. Like most people around here.

I have no problem with Palin endorsing McCain, for the very reasons Rush stated. I thought the same even before Rush’s show yesterday. And an additional reason: while some of McCain’s campaign staff may have maligned Palin, McCain has always publicly been gracious and supportive of her.

This is the way politics works, the game has fundamental rules. This is one of them.

Robert Service said it best .... “A promise made is a debt unpaid”.

Sarah has stated (promised) that she will not support RINO’s and yet she clearly does so by campaigning for McCain.

At what point will the “favors” end? She seems to be falling into the Beltway lobbyist payback IOU scheme that has ruled Washington for generations. I am disappointed with her decision.

Here’s a quote from Jim Robinson (about one month ago) that I really really liked.

“No more RINO’s”

There has been at least one thread a day regardng this subject and the Palin haters will not let themselves be convinced.

They have a job to do, all 4 of them, and that is to hold their ground and disrupt. They are mostly Ron Paul supporters.

It seems silly to have the exact same conversation with the same people and the same outcome (the Palin haters end up conversing with just each other) da7ly.

It's been stated numerous times that those of us that actually understand the workings of politics and how Palin would be been torn apart had she not come out and stood by McCain, well, we don't don't even like McCain. We can just see past the noses on our faces.

“You’re missing Rush’s point. It’s still a free country and SP is free to do as she chooses, no matter what you try and label her as.”

The real point is, Palin is endorsing a RINO as “payback” which of course reduces her “conservative” credibility. Yes, Sarah can do just that for her “free speech”. A principled person would use endorsing McPain, a RINO, as a wise choice in exercising their “free speech”. They'd save that “free speech” for someone who had the same principles. I label Palin what she is ... even if truth and the “label” offend you!

Never say never.

Whenever anyone gets on me about how perncious a third party would be, I have one response: To Hades with a third party. We need a second one.

FWIW, I could give a rat's hairy hind end about the letter after someone's name. Party means bupkis anymore. Which also means, at least for me, that party loyalty is no reason to support, endorse, and/or vote for someone.

As for no "outsider", by that I guess you mean a party animal, being able to win....refer to my never say never comment :)

Will she pledge to never support a RINO again?

Michael Steele already has the job of telling actual conservatives that they ‘have to’ vote for RINOs.
