The brothers and sisters sure have been in the news lately for unruly behavior. Must be that hope n change is not working out as they had planned.

A rap star says former Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney first touched him—and not the other way around

He better come up with some kind of defense. He is most likely a two strike offender already.

If Mitt had of laid him out, he would have proven that he had the mettle to be president. Instead Ritt Momsey proved he is a liberal RINO whiner WHIMP.

No, he lost any chance of my vote with this conduct. He aint got what we need for the white house.

It looks like both of them would have had to resort to hitting each other with purses; had had the situation escalated.

I haven’t heard anyone ask “Where the hell were the flight attendants?”. They should have made him put his seat up for takeoff. A passenger shouldn’t have to be the one that enforces the rules.

Wasn’t this during the approach to take off when regardless of your color, creed, or political affiliation, ALL are required to have their seats upright?

"If what this guy says is correct, and I understand there are videos, then Romney assaulted him.."

I understand that many here in FR have Romney Derangement Syndrome, but if putting a hand on somebody's shoulder to get their attention that they are doing something illegal and dangerous to other passengers equals 'assault' in your mind, then you have been sufficiently wussified by the American Left to pass the liberal wussy test.

It depends on the kind of touch Romney made first. No court will sustain an assault charge for a moderate touch on the shoulder to get someone’s attention, particularly when the reason for it was to call attention to a safety rule violation. But if Romney whomped the guy harder than reasonably necessary, then it’s assault (and, I must admit, possibly deserved!).

Exactly. It’s not so much whether Romney was right and justified or not, it is more a revealing glimpse into his personality. Most Americans simply don’t go around acting, insistently, upon that sort of hall monitor impulse.

Poor rap singer’s got a grievance because someone asked him to put his seat up.

DJ/rappers Redfoo (Stephen Kendal Gordy) and Sky Blu (Skyler Gordy) (Uncle and Nephew respectively).

BS! I don't believe Romney 'loudly' asked him anything nor do I believe he did anything more that tap him on the shoulder. The guy is BSing, IMO!

Romney's attacks on Gov. Palin (DURING AN ELECTION!!!!)
and his dirty tricks on Sen.Thompson and this all reflect upon Mitt Romneycare's mindset. Mitt Romneycare is above certain women and other people who dwell far beneath him.

“Most Americans simply don’t go around acting, insistently, upon that sort of hall monitor impulse.”

As I understand it, the rapper’s seat was reclining into Mitt’s wife’s lap. If I was flying with my wife and this happened, I’d do exactly what Mitt did.

Bull. If Romney touched him at all, I’m sure it was just a tap on the shoulder to get his attention.
