Mitt will have to overcome the double digit lead Palin has on him among conservatives and Republicans according to several months of PPP polls to prevail over her in the South and the Midwest. 40% of the delegates come from the 11 Dixie states and Kentucky and Oklahoma.

The $64 dollar question: will Huckabee run?

ONLY Romney is a certainty to run.

Our Sarah has not declared.

She is unselfishly concentrating on election 2010 and along with her hard work, she is building a network of support that will dwarf Romney’s, should she decide to run.

Please don’t allow the media to to demoralize you.

It might be Romney’s so-called “turn” but he’s not going to be the Republican nominee if OUR SARAH AMERICA runs.

I can't stand this guy. If it is him, then my better half will really get sick of me hearing it is time to move to Australia, because if it is Romney I stay home.

I held my nose last time and voted for Sarah, but not this annuity salesmen...

And Palenty and half the other GOP clowns ain't far behind either.

She stated the “good money” was on Romney

Oh, that's rich.

Right now my focus is on November 2010 and defeating McCain.

Yes. That should send a pretty clear message to the GOP. But then, if they haven't got it by now...

“Not even if this is the ticket?”

Palin/Romney

They would win. As long as Palin is prez.

I want to say that I agree with you. But the socons were not able to prevent George HW Bush, Dole, and McCain. For whatever reason, social conservatives have a tendency to get isolated in the primary season. Usually because some kind of stalking horse like Pat Robertson or Mike Huckabee manages to siphon off their votes.

George W. Bush in 2000 is the only candidate in my memory that managed to unite the establishment and the socons during a primary season.

Thanks for the encouraging words onyx!

I'm not demoralized but my eyes are wide open. :) The forces arrayed against conservatives and particularly against Sarah Palin are huge.

Nobody is voting for your stupid AIP Party.

So postpone your happy dance.

I’ll vote for real conservtives up and down the ticket and write in Palin if Romney wins.

That doesn't even make sense.

The difference is that Palin’s conservative supporters feel passionately about her and once you are a Palin supporter you are not going anywhere else. We will live or die with Palin in the GOP primaries. Other than Reagan no other conservative but Palin brings that type of zeal and commitment out of her supporters.

I still believe that a whole lot of conservatives would pull that lever for Sarah in a flash over Romney by 2 to 1, I think that they have been condition to not publicly say or do anything in fear of being ridicule as you would say it by the media and so-called experts on both sides......it’s a uphill battle, but it’s not over until it’s over.

The media absolutely fears/detests this woman and they will make it their mission to completely destroy her if she gets into the race.

As if they haven't already done so? I wouldn't worry about that.

I’d almost bet money that Romney is the GOP candidate in 2012. Too bad, he’s liberal rino through and through.

But, if the Massachusetts Senate race taught the GOP anything, it taught them that moderate and liberal independents will break for a liberal Rino.

Therefore, the rino GOP calculus says that a Rino candidate wouldn’t need the GOP’s conservative base.

I have more!

Romney had to spend his own money to finance his run in ‘08.

He’ll have to do the same again!

ONLY Our Sarah can raise the $ Millions needed to defeat Obama!

Clearly, Coulter has moved toward the Republican Party elites.

Or her blue-blood Conneticut RNC tendencies of becoming a country clubber is showing given her education pedigree....

Discussing the Jewish distain for Palin with a Conservative Jewish friend we came to the conclusion it is cultural dislike.

My guess is Ann (along with many liberal Jews) cannot relate to a women who is into: Snowmobiling, Seaplane flying, Hunting, Hunting your own Moose, dressing said Moose and Making Moose Stew in a crock pot, and not going to the same highly rated schools as Ann did.

It is the Anny Oakley Go West mentality vs. the North East Establishment.....

This time around we have had enough of the establishment, maybe it is time to purge Anny like it we did Noonan...
