Paul won all the polls last year, but what happened on Election Day? Squat. He even choked in New Hampshire; with the backing of the ‘Free State’ Project. Irrelevant.

The Tea Partiers were out in force

If this poll is true, I think it would be put better: The Tea Partiers were out in farce.

So the homosexual GOP group pushed him over the top? Don’t they know that Mitt loves them?

I guess I won’t be voting for the “Republican” this time then.

Exactly! This is why people have to vet candidates in their area very carefully or they will get a Medina in Congress or in State Government who is aligned with Paul.

There was one group of individuals who were part of going to the Town Halls this summer but there is a whole group of Tea Party types trying to get organized who are using the Tea Party movement for Paul who claims he started the Tea Party movement by having a money bomb on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party which I heard this week.

Congratulations on the win. I listened to his speech and he made some excellent points and is truly the most Constitutionalist-Republican candidate we have.

CPAC is dead!

First they bring in the Gay Agenda and now, Ron Paul?

Good bye, CPAC, you just made yourselves completely irrelevant.

They’re spamming every social network and forum I’m on. They start with the usual small government line but it doesn’t take long for them to sound like Code Pink. We’re all neocon warmongers if we don’t like Ron Paul.

Straw polls are a farce. As to Paul he got some 4.8% of the vote in Texas his home state in the Primary. He’s not a serious contender in any election outside his homebase in CD 14.

I think the results simply show something about who the attendees are, rather than the state of current political map.

You don’t have to love Ron Paul to understand that this means people are tired of the same old crap from Washington. I have no intention of voting for him but I do understand why others do.

This idea that Beck (or anybody else) sabotaged Medina is absurd. If you can’t answer “did the govt have anything to do with the 9/11 attacks?” you're not be fit to run for dogcatcher.

For God's sake, has anybody really looked into her platform- her background? Has this woman even been vetted?

She wants legalized drugs.

She backs gay marriage.

.

She has not spoken to her elderly parents for YEARS. They had to find out she was runing for governor of Texas by reading the newspaper!

http://www.statesman.com/news/texas-politics/medina-hailing-from-beeville-learned-political-skills-on-229907.html?srcTrk=RTR_95609 What does this say about this woman's character? And rumors are begin to surface about husband Noe's past associations.

Take a look at some of the statements she has made: "It’s a shame isn’t it, that Republicans continue to ignore Hispanics especially here in Texas?’

"Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family?”

"Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture.”

"I believe we too often get into race when it’s immaterial.” (Obummer, is that you?)

I don't believe for one minute Medina's propaganda about wanting to strengthen the border!

La Raza probably has her in their back pocket!

Glenn Beck has once again helped the tea-party stay in the Republican mainstreamby by weeding out dangerous fringe thinkers like Medina.

Medina is NOT representative of the Tea Party movement. She USED them- latched herself on to them. She’s a hard core Libertarian who has realized that the Libertarian Party will never win anything and that the only possible way to get herself into office is to do what Ron Paul did and wrap herself in the Republican cloak in hopes that it will fool enough of the voters enough of the time. Thank God Glen Beck outed her in time.

Retrieve your sombrero from the ring and go home Senora Medina. You're Texas toast. Image and video hosting by TinyPic
