GD!
I just watched over 45min. of Glen’s presentation and it stopped before it was done!
I want to hear the rest!!!
Fixed it for ya. ;0)
Thank you! If he was, we would not have all these “elite” professors at the Ivy League.
We need a very large number of Glenn Beck Professors to invade our universities. Maybe he could sponsor a program to turn them out in big quantities.
I've seen about a third of it now, but my browser and my computer keep crashing, so I have to keep reloading, and starting again.
Not to worry, though. I'll soldier on. What I'm hearing so far is incredible. I've already seen the bit where he talks about the difference between Progressives and Communists.
Brilliant (but really very simple) stuff.
That is so true. But you only need the first one to get it started.!
Simplicity is Genius. (I believe this is very much true.)
Check C-SPAN if you get it, they may have multiple replay times.
Hey does anyone know the name of the song Beck plays as an intro to his radio program? The one they played as he was into’ed tonight at CPAC? I would love to hear the whole song. I have only heard bits and pieces.
I thought I was missing something, because the same thing happened to me—CSPAN only has the first 45 minutes of Glenn’s speech!!!
I found it on townhall.com, BUT the video is from ustream, and for some reason the audio SUCKS and I can’t figure out how to fix it, wah!! :-( Anyone know how to configure the sound? I went to ustream’s FAQ page but the questions and answers are for people who are broadcasting their own shows, and not for viewers!
I can’t get the audio!! It’s all distorted and weirded out—anyone know how I can configure this???
The song is “The Resistance: Uprising”
by Muse.
At one point, he played it on his radio show. Someone from the band or its management called and told him to stop it. IIRC, it was his daughter who introduced him to the group & song.
Muse The Resistance
Uprising
The paranoia is in bloom, the PR
The transmissions will resume
They’ll try to push drugs
Keep us all dumbed down and hope that
We will never see the truth around
(So come on!)
Another promise, another scene, another
A package not to keep us trapped in greed
With all the green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined
(So come on!)
[Chorus]
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Interchanging mind control
Come let the revolution take its toll if you could
Flick the switch and open your third eye, you’d see that
We should never be afraid to die
(So come on!)
Rise up and take the power back, it’s time that
The fat cats had a heart attack, you know that
Their time is coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend
[Chorus]
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Hey .. hey ... hey .. hey!
(repeat)
[Chorus]
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Hey .. hey ... hey .. hey!
(repeat)

Beck links it in with “The COming Insurrection” by The Invisible Committee....part of the the anarchist movement in Greece/France/Europe in geneneral.
Over at the dark underside they are looking at 1990 Paul Wellstone campaign commericials to cheer themselves up.
See: US Constitution and Bill of Rights.
bttt
Excellent point. :0)
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Emma Lazarus, 1883
