A source close to the church arson cases tells KETK-TV arrests have been made.
Those arrested are UT Tyler student Jason Bourque, 19, of Van and Daniel George McAllister, 21, (DOB 2-27-88) of Van. Bourque's address on jail records lists he is from Lindale but went to school in Van.
Bourque's Facebook page shows he graduated from Van High School in 2008 and currently attends UT Tyler. He lists he religious views as "existential." Photos on the networking site show he qualified for state on the debate team.
A friend of Bourque's tells us they sat together in math class at UT Tyler and that he was once a very religious person but struggled with depression starting last November.

Good news!
How despicable they (allegedly) are!
I live down here in Tyler, Smith County, Texas where these fires took place. These two are in line for an all expense paid trip to the Texas State Penitentiary in Huntsville. I think a 50 years sentence for each church burned, served consecutively, should suffice as punishment. The justice system down here will show them no mercy.
“He lists he religious views as “existential.” Photos on the networking site show he qualified for state on the debate team.”
Someone could have pegged him as an a-hole based on that alone.
Let them find Lord in prison...for life.
Unfortunatey it’s angry lost types like this that find demon allah in prison to vindicate their violence.
These punks are going to be used like ragdolls while they are in the slammer.
They will never be able to sit down because of the pain, and their knees will be constantly bruised. As for food, they should expect to be eating a lot of tossed salad.
Jailhouse love at it’s finest.
See this yet?

Looks like a real douche.
Looks like a bunch of “compassionate conservative” responses so far. LOL!

In addition to the arsons at the listed churches, there were attempted break-ins at the following churches:
02-07-2010, 12:19 AM, Heritage Baptist Church, Tyler, TX;
02-08-2010, 9:19 PM, Clearview Church, Tyler, TX;
02-08-2010, 9:39 PM, Pine Brook Baptist Church, Tyler, TX.
Authorities say they believe Daniel George McAllister, 21, and Jason Robert Bourque, 19, are responsible for the 10 church arsons and three breakins, but the investigation is ongoing. So far they have only been charged with the arson at Dover Baptist Church.They had attended the First Baptist Church in Ben Wheeler together. Bourque was arrested without incident in Van Zandt County and transported to Smith County and McAllister was arrested without incident by Texas Rangers in San Antonio and also transported to Smith County. Prison rape should be as much a crime as setting the fires. Prison is tough enough without that aspect. You are correct that they have a terrible future - we should not encourge it...it is not what we would hear in our church or from a conservative leader.

Flaming tattoos could be part of "unique" descriptions.
Gaydar alert!
Creeps! Send them to the electric chair; then try them.
“Creeps! Send them to the electric chair; then try them.”
Umm...NO.
I wasn’t serious.
Looking like many prayers were answered.
