AGW is not just junk science, it has helped make scientific peer review and peer reviewed experiemental results into bunk science. IMHO, this applies to every last, dang academic discipline, too, these last 2 decades at least.
My search for the Beck response to the USA Weekend thing took all of 2 seconds.

Concerning this article, Glenn Beck said he learned some new things about himself that he didn’t know.
I don’t care for the birther stuff myself, as I don’t believe 0bama is a natural born citizen. So, I don’t like his birther crap, but there’s a lot about what he says with which I do agree. Let’s sink the dictator 0bama through rejection of his policies as it seems the lawsuits aren’t working, sadly.
Have you read ‘An Inconvenient Book’ or listened to Beck? To swallow some MSM story or a regurgitation by WND as truth is buying into the theory of dividing those of us that are vehemently against this administration.

Thanks for finding that USA Today article. Like McCain, in front of the conservative audience he gives one impression and when talking with liberal reporters, he gives a different agenda.
He also chatted with O’Reily about how we need to have a Federal VAT tax to pay off the debt!

Then he should sue, if they're really wrong. There's Supreme Court precedent for such a suit (Masson (sp?) v. New York Magazine, and he'd likely prevail. USA Today would be forced to turn over their audio-tapes (these interviews are always record, for just such an event), and he can nail them to the wall with it.
If he doesn't, I'm going to be inclined to believe that he said it. Newspapers frequently get their facts wrong, but they rarely get their quotes wrong precisely because of the Masson case.
You just had one of them admit it was a piling on payback because he is unwilling to lose his job over the issue.
People are becoming so childish anymore. I am starting to have slim to no faith that we can take the WH back in 2012.
It seems everyone’s pet issue is more important then getting Obozo out of the WH.
